Item mall should give only avatars (visual stuff's) to avoid SILK currency in game. It's killing most of server's. That's only my opinion :D

This server might just be what a lot of people have been looking for. Well designed and presented quite professionally.

I'm slightly worried about the edits, although the server isn't over-edited at the moment, I sincerely hope you guys will keep it that way and try to go for the simple/sleek approach that makes Silkroad so appealing.

I've got a few questions which I hope can be answered, keep in mind that I haven't played any Silkroad servers for along time so be patient with me:

1. Why did you guys decide to remove the PK aspect of the game? Correct me if I'm wrong but it was quite fun just PKing (higher ranked players of course, not lower leveled ones) and then going through the trouble of bringing the PK down again.

2. Are there any awards for people who've participated in the Beta period? I'm not talking about items or silk, because that would be unfair to anyone who'd start later, but what about a title like the ones some official games give (Founder for example).

3. Why is one of the avatar dresses added to the starter items? It will make everyone look like one another. Even if the dresses have to be bought with silk, once the game gets going and people have acquired funds, they will sell dresses/silk items to one another for gold. Seems kinda redundant to add that dress.

4. Could you guys lower the SP amount we start with? I know that a lot of builds will need more than 1M, but it'd still be nice to be conservative with the SP you spend and having to open a gap at certain levels to get the SP you needed. Silkroad is paramount with grinding/farming SP, more so than most games and giving that much SP at the start takes away from that. Perhaps you could half the starting SP to 500.000?

5. Could you lower the global and reverse level requirement from 100 to let's say 64 or 72? They would come in handy whilst levelling at those levels.

6. Why are there three different types of Moon and Sun weapons? It feels like it convoluted the game. The same goes for all the different tokens and currencies, to me personally it feels like way too much hassle. Wouldn't it be easier to just have SoS, SoM and SoSun and then have perhaps one or two different tokens for different purposes.

Anyways there are just some general questions that I personally had, and other people may disagree with it.

Most items are gatherable through ingame features, we try our best to not make SILK an currency ingame, if that is something we can improve we will check out in beta even more to make sure of it.

We are currently discussing the dresses for starter. We might just give different ones to CHN and different ones to EU. We are planning to add dresses into quests & uniques for the future aswell (which are only through that getable) -> Still under discussion.

Thanks for your kind words, we're glad it looks attractive. We'll do our best to get that server going for a long term with help and suggestions of you guys of course! :)

To your questions;

1) The majority of disabling PK is the usage of it in events. We want everyone to have fun in events, everyone to have the same chance. This is why this is currently disabled. PK mostly bring hate towards eachother.. if that's something we want to change we still can discuss that through out the beta phase.

2) We are deciding what kind of rewards to give for beta participants. There definitely will be rewards for beta participants as thank you.

3) The purpose of giving a starter dress is to get the server as play2win as possible and since not everyone is willing to donate for it. We are still discussing regarding the kind of dresses, we will add other methods of achieving dresses through ingame features, so the starter dress might be irrelevant at the end. We'll see how beta will go.

4) That's something we might can consider. We started with that amount since farming for SP, especially for builds that need alots of it is kind of a time consuming. And the community these days are wheter busy in real life or simply don't wanna farm for it. We also would like to give everyone the same chance to start their story together and try to prevent a big time period difference. -> This will be discussable for sure!

5) We'll have this discussed with the team.

6) There's only 1 type of Moon and Sun. Their simply called differently and give u added effects (blues) when completing the set.

SoS is not available. Last Gear, Som and Sun are the tiers to get and use.

There are rewards for completing and joining the HWT quests. I will add a further explanation on the Eternity Quests (HWT, FGW and Job Temple)

All those server mentioned had different features and ways of attracting people and so do we. We are not competing nor doing the same they do.

Any chance bard will be made more viable?

Here's what other servers have done in the past:
Buff damage (you've already done this, albeit Vibration is probably still a joke, it's been buffed 200% or more iirc in other servers)
AOE knockback
Greatly reduced cast time on tambours (so you can weave them in during combat and get ~30% damage reduction for the next 2-3 attacks you take) (this made bard really fun to play)

Or a different way to buff it is to make them a better secondary mastery because otherwise literally everyone is using Cleric as a secondary.

we can still check on beta, and improve bard if it's needed.

chinese is currently 300, if it's not enough balanced we can still think of increasing it. Beta will tell us more.
