The problem was VMware, like in said @@ ReadMe @@.txt . I am wondering why I had to remove it. You could just make it for if client is running in Virtual PC tho. I am a programmer, and I am using offen VMware&Virtual box. For me it sucks to choose between game and developing.Quote:
Try installing the C++ Runtime Updates from the client folder.
Windows usually downloads these through windows update but if not you can install them from the client folder:
"C++ Drivers All Redist x86 x64".
If you have 32bit Windows you will need to install all 4 x86 drivers.
If you have 64bit Windows you will need to install all 8 x86 and x64 drivers.
Also check that all the required files are in the client folder, there is a screenshot called "@@CLIENT@@" showing all client files in the client folder.
Edit: Make sure you are executing the silkroad.exe, not the SRO_Client.exe
And Btw, I have still Virtual Box, but I can play the game. I just uninstall VMware Workstation.
