compwiz:
The newer version warns you now when you want to send obviously bad packets.
As for bad values in packets, I could do an hook that disconnects you instead of closing the application.

seraphicz:
I could put the character name in the COPAC window, would that be ok?

DeathWalker:
Try this, run Conquer Online and COPAC, change to "Log" mode. Log in. Does it crash now?
If not, change to edit mode, copy and paste this sit packet and click on "Send":

1C 00 F2 03 92 45 11 00 C6 57 12 00 4B 01 66 00 00 00 00 00 FA 00 00 00 7E 00 00 00

If you crashed now then it must be something related to the stack.
Please also let me know your OS (Win2K/WinXP/Win2K3) and your SP, otherwise I won't be able to emulate the bug here.

NYK:
The true good use of this tool is logging packets and sending them without client checks.
This way you can discover server side bugs. It helps us researching the Conquer Online protocol aswell.

choco, could yuo maybe split the ascii part from the values? so the ascii changes when you change the values in another part of the program. It is really hard if you want to copy or switch something that all you need to do is put in the ascii text. Just wondering if its possible if u cant its ok.

You mean so that it acts just like an hex editor? Eg. Hex Workshop?
07/06/2005 01:42 XtremeX-CO#66
Yes something similar. Could it be done possibly ? it would really help splitting the 2 types apart. Well at least for me.

XtremeX-CO:
Writing hex editor controls takes a lot of time, you could just paste the hexadecimal data sequence into an hex editor and edit it there. So I doubt this would be really worth it.

To be honest, currently I am wondering if I should stop adding feautures to COPAC so I can begin writing what I actually had in my mind, COPAC has done its purpose for me.

ok i have ideas on how to make this work... idk... but for one of them u will need 2 people. what u do is, u either trade or have one buy something from the other, and get the packet of the RECEIVING part and try resending that packet. but for the buying, u have to resend the money receivd packet, because i tried the item one and it dont work cuz the shop is updated or something. i tested withdrawing from the warehouse and resending... and it APPEARS to work but then ur warehouse actually is losing money... too bad :(. it doesnt work with the npc's cuz u lose/gain gold and gain/lose item in the same packet so that doesnt work. another idea is mining gems... while mining, record the packet for RIGHT WHEN U GET THE GEM i know its gonna be hard to do this... but then try resending the packet and see if u get another gem. remember these are only ideas. oh and another thing... if you can figure out which part of the packet refers to what info, then u could like sell something and change the money gained ONLY so u just like buy a bunch of stanchers at 5 gold each... then change the packet so that u lose a stancher but gain lets say, 1 mil and just keep sending. u'll lose the stancher but gain much more gold. somebody who knows what their doing please try this, i can only provide ideas

Buying at market: I have tried buying items at market for a price lower than they cost. Failed.
I have not tried anything related to selling at market though, same goes for trading.

Mining. When mining you receive packets from the server, you don't send the server a packet when you receive an ore/gem :)

I also tried playing with the packets where you sell items to the Storekeeper/Pharmacist, nothing interesting came out. I think it just tells the server "sell item at slot x" and not how much you actually want for it.

o man guys... i just found something REALLY good for pking with archers using this program

it takes speed, but switch to pk and now get ready... attack the guy u wanna kill then quickly switch to copac and resend that packet, then quickly hold down enter for about 3 seconds... then continue to jump around in conquer and everytiem u land u will fire another arrow while he struggles to catch u as u jump. tested in tg but not yet on real people

ok i have discovered that when u send a packet to pick up gold... even if it is there, ur character does nothing. i am kinda new to the whole packets thing but i learn fast, so if anybody could help me out and tell me what they know so far maybe we could make something great

Robsta:
I don't care much about that, I think it's OK as it's just bringing more visitors to elitepvpers.com, but interesting to see where my tools land.

monkeyleader:
I guess that's how packet based aimbots would work for this game :P
About packets, we have tried depositing/withdrawing gold, picking it up multiple times and dropping more than you got, selling items to NPC for more than they're worth, buying them for less than the NPC wants for it, buying them for a cheaper price at market. All that failed.

ok well im still working on this thing, i havent given up hope. i have discovered that u can make both sides agree to trade... BUT THE TRADE DOESNT GO! heh what u do is, u put the item in the trade window, go to that packet of u putting it in, then resend it, it will take the item out and back into ur inventory but inactuality its still in the trade thing(check the other character's window) then agree, then drop the item and wait for the other guy to agree, then pick it back up again. both sides will have agreed... but the trade doesnt work!, ive also discovered things that look like they work but they actually dont which is really starting to piss me off cuz ive found like 3 of them. ive been going back to this topic like everyday to see if theres new stuff... and there never is. please guys help me out with this. i found that, if you find the packet to put stuff into ur shop at market, then go to trade, put in, use packet to take back out, then agree, then send packet to put it into ur shop, and if the other guy agrees the trade goes just fine, and if u open ur shop ur item is still there, but its only on ur computer, if u check with another guy it wont be there, i mean u can even remove the item and see it in ur inventory, but u cant do anything with it, as the other stuff that looks like it worked but didnt. if anybody else has got ideas please help!

alright i have been thinking about my last post... and if it is in shop and trade window, if we can agree trade and have somebody else buy it at the same time... we may be able to trick the server into giving that item to both people, i will end up trying this sometime but i'll need another computer and 3 accounts -.-
please guys help me
