PLZ post your bugs/anything here!!

Hello everybody, I had some problems to run ServerEditor.exe, but now I resolved and it runs :)

Unfortunately, now I have another problem... when I click "Start Server", it does not appear 3 little windows of cmd, but only 2:

one is all black, the other appears with this:

FAKE HOST ready on port 5222
COMMAND HOST ready on port 5333

(there is not "COMMANDER CONNECT" etc.)

and not even the 3rd little window :(

In fact, if I try to click NFS: World, I see the message "You didn't start the server...", but I started it, I think the problem is that I have just 2 little windows of cmd after "Start Server" instead of 3.

Someone know what could be the problem? Thanks in advance...

p.s. - I have Windows XP, yesterday I tried with Java 8u45 but nothing... today I tried with Java 8u51, but I still have the same problem.

I have a little question, there is a file to open all events and then some, is anyone working to eliminate all the extra events out to make one with all the original events? Just wondering it all. Thanks for any info or reply!

there is an event/race file out there in these forums somewere, that has just the original events/races in it. I wish i could find it again, but its here in these forums somewere. Sorry i cant link it, still trying to find it again. lol.

I did everything correctly, server editor works fine, but when i click start nfs world, nothing happens, why?
EDIT: I noticed it shuts down all the cmd windows.

I can start the Server and get it to start with no error, but when I click start NFS World. it says server unavailable....Any ideas?

I had same problem, you set it to open the game short cut instead of the game launcher.

In the setting.ini that is in the server editor folder, click that and change the text in there to this:

C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data\nfsw.exe

If your drive letter is different, then adapt it to fit

found a bug! DO NOT INSTALL blank flag license plates otherwise youur game says OUT OF MEMORY ERROR continue working (on console it says Client disconnect) then after 10-15 seconds it crash

Cant find a "programdata" option under C:\

I see exactly why everyone been having powerup/log on issues.
I did a completely fresh install, used the data folder shared from the other thread.
Instant problems, that I did not have when first starting out with the game already installed.
Had the log in issues, and nothing worked except to restart computer, then the game connected, then the powerups issue occurred.
Windows blocked files and asked to allow, that I could not see happening, because the game was in full screen.
Once I allowed them, restarted game, powerups worked.


Plus, the saved and shared data files do not have these, that I had.

Are those what EA self creates when connecting to them and no longer needed?
Just trying to help out the cause of why so many have issues and I see now why, all because of using shared data files.
I don't need help, just explaining, so maybe it will help those having issues.

And i cant find the electronic arts folder there, even though i dowloaded nfs world as a google doc from someone, do you or anyone here have a nfs world download?

EDIT#2: Sitll cant find an electronic arts folder.

after the installation of 1.7 version of the server, the powerups doesn't work...
other problem is when i customize a car (eg. port c class performane to b). When i exit the class is back to c but the performance aren't change...

Nope, I am not using any sort of mods, and the persona I use is an imported one from when the game was online, which still works with the 1.0 beta version (only version it works for me, for now). The 1.6 version also gives me the same error. I tried the same persona and offline version on a different PC and it works even though it hase the same game version, and java, and everything.

Same problem on me powerups not working and this class bug heppens to me ı hope Berkay fix it

What i did was find the: www\nfsw\Engine.svc\powerups\activated files in the last version and copied it over to the new version. I also made them read only. Weather this works for you folks or not is another question... just telling what i did that worked.
