Welcome to Shaiya Rebirth: Episode 4 [Open Beta]

Just necroing (I apologize) to see how many people would be interested in a comeback.
It has been almost 2 years now and I have had many great server ideas during those 2 years. I personally haven't played Shaiya since the closure of Rebirth Episode 4, but Shaiya still has a special place in my heart.

So yes, I am considering to re-open Rebirth (a Rebirth rebirth /pun) or start a new huge project I've been thinking about for ages now. The main focus will obviously be the golden age of shaiya, episode 4.5.

As this will be a 1-man project (unless people are willing to support me), it will take some time to finish the server (obviously, I want it to be good and unique). If there are enough people that are interested, I will start the official website where I will post my concept and where we can discuss what I have in mind and what you would like to have on the server.

If you are interested, please leave a reply in this topic. I would be glad to return to shaiya, but I will only do so if there is an audience that wants a great ep4.5 based server.

Greetings MC Flip, you seem like a good dedicated Admin, i gladly offer my help, ofcourse i have no knowledge of SQL or database but if you need people for beta testing etc you can count me in.

Great, that is exactly what I need people for.
I want a dedicated community that is willing to provide feedback to make a server they will want to play.

Haven't been playing Shaiya for a while now either due the lack of interest in the current servers. This however might be something I've been looking for.
Hopefully it'll become a thing. You'll have my support. :)

Logging in to it right now. I actually have a new, personal skype. The one in my profile is my old skype I mostly used in the Shaiya Private Server scene.

Thank you for your support. It seems like even more people are interested, so it surely might become a thing.

I think i remember your old server (not quite sure tho), I used to exploit so many things on it like trading untradeable items, duping, bots etc and i don't want you to have same issues you had before, if you want some advice send me a message on Skype.

I had a great time on your old server and can't wait to see this project restarted. Most other servers I've tried didn't had the right feel for me.
If you need help, all I can offer is testing because I have no knowledge of programming at all.

Count me in. Haven't played Shaiya in a while, I'd like to help bring up a new server by providing testing, feedback, ideas and language skills (french, some italian and a bit of spanish) if you need them.

Tell me if your interested so I can add you to skype.

The Droplist is almost done. A few more revisions and it will be ready to be implemented on the server, after which we will have a Closed Beta test to make sure everything is dropping where and as it should.
