Umm.. OGR had increased drop rate and always got multiple drops if you had Item info. And atleast in OGR crafting werent problem, and didnt need to spend anything to cash shop to get crafting high.

'IF' this is being made the way its being claimed then reworking EXP/Drops ect will be no Issue at all, OGR Realms Drop rate was broken because Joker was lazy and ran a scirpt to increase all drops by a % which made some mobs have a total drop rate more than 100% so some items never dropped as a result.

Example, A monster drops

Broken Bones - 10%
Enchant Stone I - 10%
Healing Pot - 10%
Mana Pot - 10%
Small Bone - 10%
Rough Leather - 10%
Gold - 30%
Level Based Loot - 10%

Total 100%

After Joker ran his script making everything x2 drop

Broken Bones - 20%
Enchant Stone I - 20%
Healing Pot - 20%
Mana Pot - 20%
Small Bone - 20% <- hit 100% total
Rough Leather - 20%
Gold - 60%
Level Based Loot - 20%

Total - 200%

After 100% drops the rest either didnt drop properly as a result meaning in this case rough leather, gold and level based loot wouldnt drop or would be reversed to 4%, 6% and 1% making them very rare - hence why some common items i had joker place them to be sold on NPC Ducan in the bloody bar (inc RSS/CSS/SSS)

Above is an example of how Actual drops rates work in AO

As said if the game is being emulated or re-writtten non of this is of value as they can directly choose there own loot/drops system.

imo the best/easiest way out of that would be a level based chance box from bonus mobs , whered u have all teh "wanted" items in one place .

No offence but why would other player play in a priv server if the rate and everything is the same as the original? The cash shop could be cheaper but whats the point when they have already invest enough time+effort to reach vll130-lvl160.

well tbh i'd trust neuronet for controlling botting/hacking but i do agree that normal rates is a bit :S

something along the lines of 3-5x wud b nice imo

also, im pretty sure there will be free essentials such as licenses/blessing

I'm gonna guess he will fully allow botting if you use his bot, it would only make sense tbh.

If he was to make botting not allowed on his 'server' then he would loose more money and annoy all the people who trust support him this far.

well tbh if he's going to run cash shop on his server then using his botting expertise to block botters probably will result in more players/sales

This is like most other games. Best thing to do is change the items that are junk drop 0% then make the rest equal 100%. Lost of mobs drop the same thing so you can make 1 drop 2 items at 100% the next mob drop 2 items at 100% its not that hard but will take lots of time to edit all the mobs lol

It's allot more complex than i described it but i laid it out in basic terms :P

Seems there might not be a need for a Private server anymore since the bugs in IAO have lead to allot of players becoming stupidly rich and they have left it waaaay to long to roll back the servers lol

Wonder how they will fix this

In beta there will be only people that payed for funds , so don't expect for a public beta.

And still neuronet , you got same 3.725 / 13.500 $ US since i've 1'stly seen your website XD.

Change that value to 13.500 / 13.500 please 'heh

No it means people want to see it before they start pumping money into something! If the item mall isn't crazy on prices I would prob drop 20$ a month easy, I don't play many F2P games because of item malls!
