My Evaluation of CoPals:
The Good:
Server has a nice amount of people to play with. Haven't encountered a chinese NPC yet.
The Bad:
Lag is horrible. I am never below 1100 ping. Bullies seem to torment new players. It was hard leveling in the spawns because higher leveled people would come in and kill steal majority of my monsters. Lottery is used too often. The chat box is filled with people winning stuff. People think it's funny to stand on top of NPCs. In trade, silver is useless. Anywhere I looked, CPs was the currency. I don't know how easy it is to get CPs....but come on.
In the end, if you like the way official servers are handled, but don't want to play official, join CoPals.

DB drop "a lot" in the game. I am a somewhat noob still tao "lvl 70", and even I "in spite of kill stealing archers" can get CP pretty easy. And vendors often deal in silver also. As silver is nessecary for some game funtions. Such a guild donations, and achieving royalty status through donations. As far as hard to level? Yes, at first.. due to archers wanting the DB, but they give you a free month HB, that levels you high enough to go to like tombats in a team to level easily then. I had no lag problems til the last 2 days, and most lag when they get too full, or have server probs. They;re working on it. :) As far as stupid bullies. That's just the mentality of a few wannabee-bad chickenwusses ... fooling themselves into believing their tough, by tormenting the weaker, as in all MMORPG games. Same as a school bully. :p lol You must have played a very short time, or just caught a bad day. It's nothing like regular CO as far as needing to be RICH to play. The greed isn't there. :cool: :P lol :D
