Im working on one , for a long time , im trying to make it good , and you , using same db on every server you work at, just switching few thingies , like adding christmas tree's , after a week , shuting the server down , thats what you call " DECENT SERVER"? my opinion about the server:
-replace 9d items with 10d items (those are the best)
-add old job suits
-do not give away free avatars, devils, scrolls etc.
-allow bot
-do not allow multi client (1 client/ip)
-do not give away any item,stone,elixir etc.
-use blackrogue files
-use overlimitsro glows or something like that
-make stackable potion,arrow,bolt,universal pills,stones,tablets etc to 1000
-replace egypt weapons with 10d sun weapons
-change red(original) zerk skin to blue (2nd which has title) and edit blue to gold,green,black (no matter but it should be dark)
-do not add starting title
-do not add Silkroad-R skills, fellow pets etc.
-add 75-90 horse to stable and increase their speed (more than 15m)
-edit devil spirit time to 20 minutes and reload time to 1 hour
-add moving speed scroll 140% to any npc and sell them for 50m (100m if the rates are higher than 100)
-add new unique spawn points (like tai-sui appears in hotan or somewhere)
-do not add pvp, unique, job rooms because they're useless and ppl can't find each other
-add pvp capes to npc and edit some of them with new colors like purple,green,yellow etc.
