Then here's a tip:

1. Reconnect to the internet
2. Launch sro (only!!)
3. Run cmd
4. Type in: netstat -n
5. Browsre the most likely ip. :) It should be the one with 15779 port.


EDIT: Reconnecting is not necessary, but if you have tons of connections, it will be hard to find the right ip. ^^

IP=247.237.238.178.static.giga-dns.com
Port=15778
LoginListenPort=6969
WorldListenPort=7555

those r my settings ,

Login port for epicroad is 6969
and worldserver 7555.

client is starting but getting stucked after a few seconds :(

ps: no login etc appears just the small "sro_client" loading pops up

Yea ive got win 7 too

Every time I start the program it runs once and in round 2 it stuck at the end of the bar..
If im lucky it runs to the third round.. But only ever 10th try..

That will be a port problem, as I guess.

If in the .ini file Port=15778, then in edxloader you should set both redirect as 127.0.0.1, 15778. Thats the general.

Tell me if it works or not.

Sometimes it stops for me, too, but not that often, like after 4-5 min of using, then I have to relaunch. Must be a program bug which haven't been fixed yet... Since we don't own the source-code, we can hardly do anything useful about it.

I don't think its the key, but what kind of win7 are you two using, ultimate 32bit? Just to make sure it's not the source of the problem.

It seems anyway that the tool has been written poorly even for 32bit systems, not even to mention 64bit ones...

Yea, but I can run every x32 program.. on the other way x32 cannot open x64 programs..

32bit and 64bit programs are different. I don't know if you have met (you might have not) a downloadable software, where you could choose from 32bit or 64bit versions. There can be compatibility problems.


And these homemade tools are especially sensitive. ^^

To be honest, I'm trying to contact the creator, but I'm waiting for some help from my gf (she speaks german). :D

Till then, imo there's nothing much you can do. Try installing a second opsystem (preferably winXP), and try to run it on that one. xD Or just alchemy by hand.

Gimme some infos to contact the creator cos im german too I can try to get the real source and so on :D

No it doesnt work :(

Been the old setting already.

but if i check network status of the client that doesn't start at all it shows:

sro_client.exe (4068), [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], 50210, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], 7555, TCP, Established,

Hmn.. on wich pserver are u playing?
