I've been looking all over for this kind of tutorial for WPE and i now finally found it. I've only read it once but i'm gonna read it back all over again until i totally understand what the sniffing stuff is all about. At least now i've got knowledge about it.
Question please, Walter, Is WPE designed only for packet sniffing for games? What about sniffing Tinasoft-Easycafe(CyberCafe Timer)?

There's a particular website and one guy says something about it. Here's what he says:

"Hello, this is my first exploit article on this site.

"TinaSoft EasyCafe"

By using packet forging it is possible to obtain the ammount of time you first payed for. That is, if you bought one hour off the cybercafe owner you can then get the same amount of time back after your time has finished. How?

1. When you first log into your account after purchasing time, run a packet sniffer program on the computer you are using for 30 second to 1 minute.

2. Next you have to analyze all the packets receive, use the filtering option in the packet sniffer program of your choice to display only UDP protocols. Analyse all the packets codents until you see one that shows your user name and password in it. Save this packet.

3. With the packet saved, now feel free to use all your time. Once your time is done, log into a different account and run the packet sniffer program again. In the packet sniffer program load up your saved packet and then send it through the network again. Resend the packet every 1 second for One minute. *Note* It can not be less than one minute. Thats it, you now can log back into your user acount with the same amount of time you first purchased and continue playing counterstrike.

This exploit is working in the latest version of EasyCafe at the time this article was written. EasyCafe 2.2.14"

Please let me know what kind of packet sniffer he's using or referring to? I have no idea.
Thanks a lot.
