OMG.

NO. It doesn't just work on XP you need MSSQL on XP and Linux for the server files, Create a symbolic link between the server files and MSSQL, Edit all the config files and then run the service in Linux and there you go. Done..

The guides could do with uploading elsewhere as Rapidshare sucks lately :).

..OMG, Are you retarded?

MSSQL = Runs on Windows XP
VMWare Running Linux = For the server files!

It doesn't run ALONE on Windows XP.

Run VMWare with Linux! Ubuntu or CentOS.

Ubuntu doesn't seem to like rpm files rofl, cause it's Debian based.. Run CentOS with WMware on Windows, should work.

The only problem is how does the connection work from Linux to Windows hmm, gotta see that.
