It takes time to organize lawsuits and get all the legal work done. I trust they will follow through, and I for one will enjoy watching all the servers that paid to have Aloken and other custom stuff, shut down.

Instead of saying positive things and being optimistic, the Dekaron Private Server Community tells everyone their server is screwed.

Well, if you think you'll be able to do something like get complete strangers to stand behind one another, (instead of stealing ideas, backstabbing, unpacking one another's clients and claiming someone's work as their own... etc.)and fight off an impending MASSIVE set of lawsuits from real lawyers with REAL charges against you, you have another thing coming, Mr. 15 year old... >.> You're just as screwed as everyone else... and you just don't know it yet. :rolleyes:

Most of the server owners actually share idea's and collaborate, some are sworn enemies but that's how a community works and the Private Server community is a pretty strong one. However, I find your 'instead of stealing idea's, unpacking one another's clients, claiming someone's work as their own' highly hypocritical. Come on guys. You just stole Gamehi's Dekaron, ripped it a bit and promptly steal every update they do and since you install it first, claim it as your own. -.-;

We've seen no action from Gamehi thus far except from Cease and Desist orders and that's only to one or two servers. (Stop advertising on Global?) Aside from that, there's been no further action. Quite frankly this is Nexon's M.O. scare everyone into shutting down and probably hang one just to reinforce the idea. Do you know how much money it costs to launch an international lawsuit? Not to mention the cost of finding the owners of the private servers? I for one doubt they're losing that much money and if they are, Gamehi should shut down now.

Basic message. I'm pretty sure we don't give a damn, we're going to enjoy our private servers until the last possible moment and if that last moment is tomorrow, then so be it, but I'll be damned if you're gonna make me worried about having fun.

Oh please... it's common knowledge that Global is superior to your pservers... especially Evolution. :rolleyes: If I wanted to advertise for something, I'd definitely not bother gracing the likes of this site with anything like that, because it's so damn obvious it doesn't need advertising. I never once said "Hey ya'll, come on down" or anything. ;)

4. Nexon seems to do an awful lot of scaring people to death then, because countless pservers have been enraptured by this company... What makes you think you're so immune? Your playerbase? Your head "DEV"? The fact that the administrator is probably ignoring the Cease and Desist notices on purpose and you haven't suffered a negative consequence? Please... spare me your dribble. The Japanese and the Koreans somehow manage to stop copyright infringement all the time with media and games... Even if this Nexon is Korean, they will still kick your pserver into oblivion.

5. This is exactly what drug addicts and celebrities say before they end up doing 5-life in jail for drugs, DUI's, or ending up losing everything because they decided to spend the night with someone who wasn't their wife. :rolleyes: The point is, it'll be over soon... if not in the next week, by the next major content update... Players won't want to hang around on a game that doesn't work.

We're not immune at all, it's just, quite rare for a company such as Nexon to pursue anything in this way according to the Law Reports they've only taken against a handful of private servers and that was because of phishing attempts. Considering the fact that there are still many...if not hundreds of maple story private servers out there, I'd suggest that you lot are scaremongering.

What I mean is... if you're like some servers I know of and put a bot on Gamehi's Global Dekaron, saying: "COME TO MY FAILSERVER IT'S THE BEST YOU CAN GET BLAH BLAH BLAH AND FREE COINS" Then quite frankly you deserve to be shut down. (And yes, shamefully a few private servers have brought dishonour on our band of thieves by doing such a thing).

Proof please. Just because some servers have closed down because they've received strongly worded letters saying: 'Bad boy, dun do it again!' doesn't mean Nexon actually take action beyond that. (And when I say proof I mean cases where phishing was not a prime issue).

No one said anything about standing behind each other. My post was suggesting that instead of being someone like you, and spreading false information about something you know nothing about, we can think of a way to fend off Gamehi. You know nothing about Gamehi, therefore I point out that the following statements in your post are false.

The reason the following posts, or should I say claims, are invalid is because of the simple fact; you are not gamehi. You do not represent Gamehi. You do not work at Gamehi. You do not own any Gamehi shared. How can you predict a "massive set of lawsuits", a "big surprise", or a "VERY rude awakening"? You cannot. I cannot make it any simpler for you. Gamehi is the only one that can say what they are going to do and as I have said before, you are not Gamehi. You are also not the one to talk whether someone is involved in Evolution or not. How can you say that someone is from Evolution or not. Do you work there as well?

The fact you are using insults in addition to your false claims shows how desperate you are. You continue to respond to every single post that is about you in attempt to make yourself look bigger. Where is your proof? What makes you think this? We can all log into Global Dekaron and compare the player base now from years ago. It is clear the player count has dropped. Well it wont be easy, or even close to possible for that matter. They control even international waters. So they got legal rights just about everywhere inside and out of the states. Only way around it is to host offshore. And like I stated before its just not worth it. The ping would be horrible. There are a few other ways around it. But I doubt a community like this would even attempt them...

I'd like to add, that the ping would be horrible for -some people-, depends on the location of where most of your players come from ^-^

Well yea :P but I think most players come from the states so it would be bad for player count, since most usa people would not play because of the lag.
