I got 32gb, and with 24 VMs of 1gb each, I have 31,2gb used up from 32gb of ram.
Maybe you can go lower if you set less ram per VM, or use WinXP VMs.

Sometimes the lol client has a blackscreen or in the join game/create game screen and doesn�t change it only when you move the mouse and then the bot gets stuck, mostly when he opened the custom games tab. Currently only running 6vms, every one of them has 1gb RAM and is running on an SSD.

Setup:

Mainboard: Gigabyte Ga-Z77M-D3H
Processor: i7 3770 4 x 3.4Ghz
RAM: 16GB
Video Card: GeForce GTX660 Ti 2GB
Harddisk: 250GB SSD Samsung 840 EVO

@nhc, can you please update your 1st page with info about config (lol client's one).
