Thanks for all updates! Also virustotal.com show Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml on that updater. Sure its save?

It says the wow directory, not the addon directory.
If you did it wrong. Extract and try it again.

No Virus found. So no idea why yours have.

Thanks for the updater app guys, really nice.

To clear up some confusion about the directory. You need to provide the WoW directory. In this directory you should see the launcher and the _classic_ and _retail_ folders.

If you messed up you can find a settings.ini within your Updater directory, there you can alter the path without needing to re-install/extract the updater.

It wants the WoW root directory, so in your case X:\Program files\wow
Try run the application as administrator, as I had to do that on my laptop :-)

I assure you all that it is safe.

This is the exact process of the Updater I made:
1). Generate settings file if it doesn't exist.
2). Connects to MEGA, and checks the version that is in the name of the rar file. This first happens to the retail version if the retail version of WoW is installed, otherwise it'll check the classic version if installed.
3). Checks local version via the version.txt in the zygor addon folder if it exists.
4). If the zygor addon folder, or the version.txt doesn't exist or if the local version is out of date it'll ask the user if he/she wants to update.
5). If the user answer yes, then it'll download the latest version from the MEGA link.
6). After downloading it'll delete the zygor addon in the addons folder.
7). After deleting it'll extract the latest version of the zygor addon from the rar file that was downloaded, into the addons folder.
8). Then the rar file will be deleted.

Step 2 to 8 will repeat for the classic version as well if you have that installed :-)

I can share source code to the updater when I get home :-)

It was just made quickly, so the code might not look too good in some places. Could probably use some refactoring, but that doesn't matter now, as it works fine as is now :-)

At step 8 is there an option NOT to delete the rar file? I personally keep all the oldest versions of Zygors.

I plan to have a Release out tomorrow. As I do not have time today and the changes are a lot of improvements.

Wow thanks for the updater and 911sky for keeping this thread alive for so long you are a kind person. Zygor makes many things easier for me and it has been a long time using is a totally must have on my list but of course that's only possible because of this thread <3. I'm sure after college things financially will be better for me and would be happy to support such a great add-on.

virus scanners are paid to give fake reports , just use virustotal to check the overall report to know if it fake paid report are real.

The thing is, everyone that has done the same before. All had a Zygor account and that is how they knew about it. Then thought by doing it. The release would be sooner when it is not. Instead the one that was post it got pissed off and quit uploading.
