how many vms should i be able to run on this?
i7 3930K
gtx 660 3gb
120g SSD
32gb ram

Would i be able to run more with bigger ssd?

If i got a cheaper processor (maybe AMD 8 core) would i be able to run the same amount?

18x windows 7, but you may be limited on SSD space. I don't use windows xp because it's been really unstable.

just keep making more? I use't to run 40-50 and never had a problem, not sure why 64 would give you a problem

i no have problems wirh 64vms
i ask how run more? like 70 or 80 or 100

because when i try run 65vm - 65vm say error - cant run more VMs in team

without bot(just who want test - run 64vms and when u will try run 65 - u will see that error.)
10/17/2013 15:20 LegendaryReferrals#7282
what the hell computer can handle 65 vms? can you share your specs?
10/17/2013 15:27 muk-as#7283
24 cores(48 threads) 256GB ram

but for test 65vm u can just run VMs without bot on 4core processor with 16-32 gb rams and will see - 65 u cant run

this would probably work, but be unstable as fuck.... I guess you could theoretically give that VM like 64 GB ram...

Actually, if I were in that much of a crunch, I would probably do something like 1VM with 6 VMs inside of it.... would work the most state IMO...

I think you need vSphere - It can handle up to 512 vm´s per host.

Workstation is limited to 64 afaik.

I am curious how people with big Ref Services which have registered business deal with Windows licensing in their VMs.
