Zygor Classic | Retail & Other Addons | Updated

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] Hey, I have made an updater for Zygor Guides retail, and classic for the releases you do.

It's a console application which when opened, checks if there's a new version available via the MEGA links (only retail and classic).

If there's an update available it'll ask the user if he/she wants to update, then if the user accepts it will download the file from the MEGA link, and delete the current one in their addons folder, and then finally extract the new version into the addons folder. I made it pretty much for my own use, but I can give you a copy which you can upload and link on the main post if ya want. I can send the source code if you want to check it out to make sure it's not malicious. It doesn't do anything malicious though, but words are just words right? I just want to be useful :)

I have only tested it on my PC, but it should work for a lot.

Don't know where to send that though, as I can't PM you, doesn't give me an option. Not that it matters if it is public though.

When you use it the first time it'll say there's an update, and then you just accept it and it'll extract the latest version. Then it creates a version.txt file automatically inside the zygor addon folder, which it'll use for next time to compare versions :)

Btw if it doesn't download anything or anything at all after accepting the update, try run the exe as admin. Had to do that on my laptop.

Speaking of a new version is out and it fixes the you are not in a party spam!

i'm sure you'll get around to it when you have a chance, just wanted to make a post incase you hadn't yet noticed.

So the addon is causing that? I was wondering where it was coming from.

Just because it is out. Does not mean I am posting it sooner. Makes me wonder why people keep on checking their account for an update.

How to use

 Spoiler

• Zygor Updater
• Extract
• Run ZygorGuidesUpdater
• Add Wow directory and press any button to close.
• Run ZygorGuidesUpdater and it will check for a update and if there is one you have a option to update and it will delete the old one.
• Download and extract the new one to the addon directory

which path does it want X:\Program files\wow or X:\Program files\wow\retial\addons? I've tried both just says hit any hit but the guide doesn't update
