Grepolis bot (Now with attack option)

Hi Uthar, I found the correlation of what's been causing the bot to fall over. It is something to do with duplicate farm names, even though they're on different islands. On two different islands I have farm village names that are the same as on other islands, and when the bot processes the 2nd city that has a farm with a name in common to an earlier island, it fall-over...

I keep getting a reconnect in 60 seconds notice whenever i try to log in. Any ideas?

Was happening that my settings were displayin' automatically a wrong en#.grepolis.com different from mine.
Just correct the #number and now works.. or till here :-)

I've seen only after my 'self answer' that it was explaned in the page 2 of this 3d.. ehmm well.. Have some question more but sincerely I don't want to read the 70 and more pages of this 3d to see if there is the answers :-)

ehmm.. I've read some pages of this 3d and I've found the answer to my first qyestion: can i run grepolis when BOT is workin'. No is the answer, correct?

but still don't have an answer to my 2nd question, about what happens if have no resources.. well of course the looting on farmers help exactly to prevent this I imagine, but if it happens?

then another question..
seems that the looting on farmers doesn't work for me 'cause, in the "farmers overview" window, I see that 'troops incoming' is always on false.. even the setting I've input shows me that some farmers can be attacked.
why this?

Has anyone managed to make it work under linux (wine, mono, that kind of thing)

I tried, but it does not really work properly (I am not a Linux guru...)

Just came back from vacation. Going to finish the first version of Empire Craft II next week and will start with Grepolis again after that.

It has to be a problem with your name, password, mainserver or server. Nothing else can cause that error. Make sure there aren't any empty spaces before or after your name, password and/or server info.

I thought I used the farmers id instead of the name but will check it to be sure. Thanks for the tip.

Could be a temporarily server problem if you also can't login with your browser. Otherwise check your name, password and server settings.

1) Yes that's correct, you can't use the game in your browser when the bot is running.
2) When you don't have enough recourses the bot won't build anything. It will check your resources again every 20 minutes (or whatever timer you use).
3) Incoming is only true when units from your town are on there way to a farmer (Both attacks and supports). Incoming shows false when there aren't any units going to that specific farmer.

Don't have linux myself so I can't help you with that. But you could ask on a linux forum if they know a way to use windows programs that are using .NET Framework 3.5

Hi Utharl,

on World Delta (german) bot works perfect.

World Theta (german) it disconnects after processing all cities and starting a new counter. Then it loggs in back and disconnect immediately again.

Debug.txt:

So i tried to start with no settings in Army / Army Queue, same problem.

Hey Morco you can do this to fix it:
-Open View->Army
-Make sure every field is filled, use 0 when you don't use that unit.
-Press OK and/or Apply
-Do this for all your towns
-Press Save
-Exit and restart bot.

have u added the option to use % of unit for farming?

Already Done Uthar, same Problem there...

Bot loaded
Login -> Works fine.
Start Bot (Test for farming with 0 troops everywhere)
Disconnect after round one for all cities -> reconnect and immediately disconnects.

Checked 4 times ago and now again, even with 0 troops in each town it disconnects.

Do also still get the "Input string was not in a correct format." message? Because you get that when there's an empty field in your "Army" settings.

If you now only get disconnects it's caused by something else. At Grepolis they were moving the servers that could cause downtime and disconnects. Or you were also logged in Grepolis on your browser?
