Shaiya Private Server - Instructions - English

I then tried to run PSMServer_ServiceMgr.exe, and tried to install the server agent through that, but got an error of random character.





To run you ServiceMgr you've to open it with administrator rights, then it'll open and u'll see (R) before ServiceMgr, so the application is running x)
I got the same message.

Are you sure during the installation with the Command, you got all rights to run your server ... if u only got 1 denied access you'll have all services paused ....
Make sure you got all rights before to run them.

i can't go there, still have the access denied to Open SCManager. . . Anyone knows ?

This is probably the same problem I'm having. If it is how can i make sure i have all the rights?

ok when it runes thow the CMD it looks like it has a problum it uploads the databass witch was the 1st part of it but here it messes up on the pic above

problum might be with the pick below i only got the server called MSSQLSERVER not the MSSQL_SERVER like most of the guids show and inside of it there are like 8 difrent boxes to change IPs now one of them is preset for 127.0.0.1 but the rest have all kinds of difrent IPs

dont use it been working on it all day still i could not connect to the server aal ports are not in ini files and so on.
user data files are not complete.
I did conect to it but hard work on the exe but conection was made but the game no way.
Use admin pwadmin123 to log in to see what it missing mess up some ini files.

lol. i wanna run an offline server. how i get rights to do that?

ok the PwQuestion under PS_User Data dosent accept NULLS i went into the sql and set it to acept them but the server still wont conect with the green XXX

Hey, i'v been working on making private server just for the fun of it. been good so far untill i got stuck in this situation, Service install in Server patch config not working. i guess the problem is that PSMServer_ServiceMgr cant be installed, when i press to install, it just gives me bunch of weird marks. maybe you can help me out? :)

EDIT : Now i got all services paused, but even i Control Service - Start all server service nothing will happen. Any ideas?

Zunty what did you have to do to install it thats my problum when i run thow the installer it ways something about the PS_UserData dosent accept Nulls

So let's see if u got all the components to start the Shaiya Server program :
Go there, i posted the full program for you <3 [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] .
Then, now go to SQL server 2005 homepage here you download the program [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] .
Now you install it with mixed mode (you chose a password) first time don't chose "named instance" . (here you get SQLserver)
When it's installed you re-install the same program to get the MSSQLEXPRESS, you chose "name instance" > "SQLExpress", mixed mode with the same password.
Make sure u got a password when you log on your session (when you start the computer , but not on the BIOS, you've you login+password ), if no go make one in administration tools > administrator session.
Now you start your prorgam SQL in > Start > All programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2005 > Configuration manager. Go to SQL 2005 services and make sure you got the browser, MSSQL server and SQL express. click on 1 go to properties and put it on "This account" chose your COMPUTER name (the one you log in when u start your comp.) put your password > apply > ok . Do that for the 3 services and then restart the browser, MSSQL server and SQL express. This services should be running now.
Now you download the Server management, install it and put your info. of you account. The server is running :D . Now you open the folder SHAIYA_SERVER and start it when it's explained at the beginning of the first topic ^_^

I started all services under "Control Services/Start All Server Service" but in less than 20 seconds they all go back to "Pause"...I cannot go further...anyone could help me with this???

There is a few reason for this: (but please check ur log files see if there any error, if yes, you may already know how to figure it out)

1. Ur Pserver connection to the DB isnt established, maybe due to wrong password, etc... Update your password properly ya?

2. Maps files arent updated to the latest one...get it from this forum.

So far I thought of 2 possible reason. Anyone want to add more?

1question : i got mine server now on paused.. but i can't start it.. i've tried : Start All server Service but nothin happened.. and i clicked on : Main, Logins and Gamegroups ( right click and start ) but it won't let me start it.. help pl0x? xD

k, well, i'm running windows from my d: drive, so what do i do now???
any advice welcome ;)
