That is incorrect, Sorien quit back in like the september or something, he has quit rohan and currently only runs a small private ragnarok server. There are a few people who have managed to "update" them, but they don't release, if you want these hacks learn to do it yourself.

One thing I will say is that the old code injection for the damage hack has been patched, if you want a damage hack you'll have to do more than update it (you'll have to literally create one).
