20vms max - but they work for more than 24 hours stable

so guys for the 3vs3 gamemode 5 for doing refs. how long will it be per game? because my bots keep on running until dc

mmmh we went up to 28 on the I7 hexa when we tested it last week.
20 vms with an 8 core seem awfully low, especially since I could run 20 solo-custom game vms with my old I7 with older botversions.

For some reasons the newer botversions really fuck my cpu and limit me to ~12 VMs.....

AMD beats the shit out of Intel if you base it on PRICE for PERFORMANCE. Otherwise Intel IS better, just not for the price they charge. They currently are hot in trend but AMD is coming back. This happens in a pattern... Always has, and I believe always will.

I'm not a fanboy of either side, I only base things purely on power for price, and you simply cannot build a more powerful machine when you consider price for Intels and AMDs.

And more cores is a huge plus since VMWARE has no problems splitting and utilizing all of them.

Try running in compatibility mode setting to Windows 7.
