U say easy. I say understandable. I can follow a tutorial till my eyes fall out but in the end nobody has told me how to connect a client to my server. Let alone! how to tell if the client is compatible.
Its not like anyone really teaches us. Ive been trying for 3 years to make a private server work so i can test the limits of the game and learn more. But my teacher dissappeared after the first time we got into a chat. Now i have teamviewer and all and cant find someone to show me what im doing wrong. So that i understand. And no longer require a step by step tutorial.
Im not 1 who would just steal someone's work and call it mine. Its simply learning tools for me. But finding someone i can trust to teach me over teamviewer isnt easy.
I dont plan to host public or anything. It is solely for private use.
You see i cant even get a simple Conquer Online server running. I get stuck at the loading screen and i dont know why. Im still new at coding and dont know all the advanced stuff yet. And ive been trying for 5 years to host that.
So here is my question.
How many times does 1 person have to ask for help in doing something to use a learning process before 1 person can take the time to help them over chat or teamviewer?
If i knew how to create a private server i would have no idea helping someone make 1 so long as they give credit to the people who provided the files.
