As I said...more than ideal :)
Processor is what you mainly need to be looking at really.

And absolutely, just because something is located in EU doesn't mean US players won't be able to play it. Its just that EU players will have alot better of a connection.
But there is a whole range of factors that play into that too. Strength of the VPS connection and strength of the Player's connection are the main factors though.
Obviously a 100mb connection in the US still won't help someone who is right next door to the host and has dial up ya know?

Should be fine.

Keep in mind that with any network application where users interact with eachother and must be updated about actions taken, the scaling is NOT linearly.


Each type of server architecture eventually will reach a limit and no matter how many resources or optimizations you throw at it.

Conquer servers and this source in particular are not multi sharded nor particularily optimized to take advantage of newer hardware advancements (EG: abusing SSDs for quick db updates instead of storing everything relating to a character in ram).


A basic server will do just fine for quite literally any population a conquer server could hope to gain these days so just focus on actually making something worth playing I'd say.

Also, until the live server is updated to the newer version there will be issues with pets where they don't attack your target or are hit by Guard1.
So please wait for Pro to announce the server is updated. It will also contain all the additional bug fixes iv made, which is alot :).

Live server is updated.


I've cleared all of the bugs as all issues should be fixed (I have them backed up but I'm looking for NEW bugs here ahah)


Log on and test please. We want to have 2.9 fully tested and fixed this weekend. If you have npcs to add, please post them and we will get them in for testing.

The weather system did not exist in live conquer and therefor we have no intention of adding it.

We are creating an accurate 5065 emulation. All events and content not in that patch is free to be created but will not be distributed by this project.

NPCS should be as close to 5065 text and functionality as well which is why most of them remain un-finished because no one is submitting work that is accurate.


Fixed a number of issues with skills and guards.


-Arrow rain no longer deals 60,000+ AOE dmg (ouch!)
-All levels of guards attack properly
-Fly can be canceled and wears off properly
-Fixed issues where skills did not level up properly without relogging


Number of other touchups just to clean up this initial 1.9 test. We strongly encourage people to go test the live server. It should remain online all weekend now that the initial sorting has been done.

Sadly TQ changed things with socketing and composing and I can't get the actual text for those NPCs.
About WuXing Oven shoould i combine the text for composing and enchanting on it?Like it used to be?, and for socketing NPCs to try place them the old locations?
