Shaiya Private Server - Instructions - English

ok i dont know why im haveing such a problem doing this but maby some1 can help me, i downloaded sql 2005 and i have the shaiya ps dummie downloaded but for some reason when i go to install it i get a message that says im not getting a server connection. i guess the first question i have is when u said to Copy the Shaiya Test Server to "D:\SHAIYA_SERVER\SERVER, how do i do that?

i wanna try make 1,but problem come at server patch config.under gamegroups/gamegroups01 - the 'command' is not available/not clickable.how to solve this?

what im doing wrong? i cant get any green 'X' or anything.. i open PSMServer_Mgr and close it and re-open it but still everything red.. do i open or close wrong file then ?

Copy the Shaiya Test Server to "D:\SHAIYA_SERVER\SERVER".
i have dowloaded SHAIYA_SERVER_LITE_v0-12 and copyed that to D: .. did i do somehwere wrong then ?

and is that shaiya_server_lite_v0-12 that 'Test server' ?

Hmm... keep getting 'Failed to connect to game server' any help pls?

Hello everybody dsl for my English but I am French.

installing my Pserveur EP4 all works properly but can not create character he said each time (name already in use).

I searched the forum several people but this problem and nobody really gave the final solution to this problem.

If anyone has the solution I'm interested

Ich hatte am Anfang das selbe Problem, hatte damals das SSMSE auf Deutsch verwendet habe dann auf das englische umgestellt und der Fehler kam nicht mehr.

Hi, im trying to set up a private server just for myself and a few friends to fool around in, but im having a few problems.

I set up MSSQL 2005 express with this guide [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

set up the D drive, and rand the install_server.bat, Applied the Windows registry in the server patch config and it restarted like normal.

However, when i came back in and ran PSM_ServiceMgr.exe, exited out of it and reopened it, all of the crosses were still green.

I've been searching through this and other topics and found a few people with similar problems and already tried the same fixes they used, but nothing has worked so far.

Ive already copied the files from PSM_DATA into the DATABASE file.

I've tried to install the PSMServer_Agent, but whenever i try to run the .exe, i get an error saying that it cant find the file, even through i've made sure that the path is correct.

I then tried to run PSMServer_ServiceMgr.exe, and tried to install the server agent through that, but got an error of random character.

I'm running Win7 64 bit os.

guys? i am stuck on the step where u open PSM service Agent. it fcks up. i close and reopen server patch config. dont work....

where i have to reopen patch config and stuff. well it doesnt go green, stays red...
and btw. where am i meant to open patch config and close it and stuff?
cause to get patch config i open this: PSMServer_Mgr
and when i open PSMServer_ServiceMgr it doesnt do much. i can press instal and start and stuff, but all it does is blink. lol.
do u guys knw what to do? i am such a nub getting stuck on first step...

Nevermind, i found my problem.

I deleted everything and started over again. When i first tried to create the server, i made a new disk drive D (as was instructed in this guide : [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

However, instead this time i just ran everything out of my local disk drive C, and it worked perfectly.

After the machine restarted for the windows registry i ran the install agent exe, it ran perfectly, and when i opened up the server patch config i had all green crosses.

Still continuing through the guide...hopefully no more problems from here

So, more problems T_T

Now that i've got everything to the green paused signs, i try to start all server services.

Everything starts up within a second, then 6-10 seconds later they pause again.

I've looked through this and other topics looking for solutions to this, but none seemed to work. The only solution that looked promising and that i couldnt understand what to do with was to switch out the ep3 database to an ep4 database, but im not quite sure what that involves.

again, any help here would be appreciated

I'm tryin gto install the server patch config but .. in Command it said OpenSCManager echec, access denied ... i could solve my errors perfectly but this one oO i can't .. any help please ? >.<

guys. pls i am at the Pause sign. it dont work for some reason. i press Start all and they start for like 1 sec in random timing then go back to pause. whats the solution?
