I have one also but I have no space to upload clients that are already available on here.

Ok i have few question,it isn't realy a issue it is more a curiosity.


I have links for helpdesk for arabic(thanks to revo) and newbie help for gaia/asura/deva.


It is in arabic but i just wonder if somebody knows english version of it.

I have released the English help files here a couple of times and have them at home, but I do not have the newbie help and I am not sure if I have seen an English version of it.

You will have to check the localeinfo.ini file from a client dump to see if the Japanese localization exists.

Or I can look in my client dump folder later tonight.

now i go get JP client and test it :D

I have 9.1 files (revo files) can I upgrade my files to 9.3 ? or add the features of 9.3 in my 9.1 files ?

Yes it is called resourcing the newer content and today there are even tools where the resources can be packed right back into the data files.

As far as how it depends on how you want the client built or how many things you are going to need to update to the newer files.

You will also need to update the lists in the database to have those same updates.

You also could use glandu2's filter and run the 9.3 client with the 9.1 database with updated database lists, or the 9.3 client with the 9.4 database. When you start making mutts like this there may be other things you need to address fixing. If you are going public with a mutt then you definitely want to avoid the newer server files as a player would just have to run a newer client to have access to things you did not want them to have access to unless you locked out access to the content from the DB side, so there is also that to consider.

So as far as what content you need to make available you are going to have to make some decisions on how you are going to want to get there.

Then bringing newer content into older server files and older clients is not my strong point so you will have to post questions about what you run into here and hopefully get more input from others.

PS: I have no idea what Google is calling "The vestibule of the hole". LOL

i can't create resource file of "dbo.SkillResource"
i try the rdb tool its fail (rdb tool v3.1.0)

its because the rdb load "SkillFullResource" (old from 8.1 clien)
so there any other programs that can do this job ? or can i do it manual ?

You need to read the release thread for the RDB tool a little bit more.

The RDB for the client is created from two different tables in the database combined...

dbo.SkillResource and dbo.SkillJPResource are both kind of merged together to create the db_skill.rdb or db_skill(ascii).rdb whatever your launch preferences are.

So in the database we create a view that takes data from both of those objects and merges them together into dbo.SkillFullResource which is the view table that the RDB is created from.

So you will need to create the view in order to load and save the data for an RDB.

It is very much like what we had to do now for 9.4 and the item resource and item.ref
