Except for changing the ip in SRproxy to our server's ip : 5.39.97.142

this goes to this server's admin, you changed ecsro to ******** because joymax warned you? that's the stupidest thing I've seen this week so far. *sighs* where should I begin?
First, If joymax had really warned you would've panicked your ass off and closed the server immediately, that's what the ORIGINAL ECSRO crew did.

Second, Joymax doesn't care about psros anymore (they know they can't do anything about it, because there's at least 1 server released every day by people/kids in many different countries)

And last but not least, do you think a big gaming corporation would care about a 24-ish populated server? Don't flatter yourself. I would've maybe considered you being sued had your server had over 3.5k players online on a regular basis.

Edit: Don't get me wrong. I'm not hating or anything, just wanted to point that out. that's it

I get what he says, but still there are a lot of servers out there named after Ecsro and Zszc and their admins closed them down not because Joymax warned them but because they ran out of customers. So what I'm trying to say is you shouldn't care about being sued unless you get thousands of players on into your server. And one more thing, Joymax can't sue you just because you run a server with ecsro files, since those files are everywhere for the public eye, no one can't sue you. Do DJs get sued by the people who made the songs they put into their mixtures? Nope.

Edit: If you'd named your server JOYMAX OLD-SCHOOL SRO, then you'd be worried but NO you named it after Ecsro a psro Joymax didn't make.

:D I actually dont get it, too.
I think if he would try this one time, he would enjoy the flashback. I can say for all of us from the ******** Team and for our Community that we are the most stable "ecsro-based" Server which ever got released.

"Disappointed" is not the word I'd use to describe what I'm getting at in my statement. If you read carefully you'll understand what I'm talking about.

He/She claims he's/she's changed his/her server name to "********" due to copyright issues, He/she also says he's/she's just taking portaldark's advice, which is a reasonable thing to do.

But what I'm trying to get across him/her is that there's no risk of being warned by Joymax since Ecsro's files are widely spread on the internet and anyone can download them and make a server out of it. (of course if you know about coding stuff)

There's even a server with the exact same SroR's files and up until now it hasn't closed down. (in case you were wonder it's called extreme sro r) I think that proves my point.

And also I kinda know about Ecsro legal issue and here's my thoughts on it: Joymax warned and sued Ecsro's crew a long time ago (it's trial hasn't closed yet) since then Ecsro's files have flown across the internet so that everyone can buy it or sometimes get 'em freely. Joymax can't drag you in for using Ecsro's files,unless, of course, you bought it directly from the original Ecsro crew. so that's it they don't have proofs to drag you into their legal issue with Ecsro team.
