Final Fantasy XI (Online) Private Server files

You cannot update at the moment since the servers are down until Fr. 25th 11am GMT.
The Servers were shut down because of the Earthquake in japan.

the updates are coming from SE - this is correct, they are just not online atm...

There's a server in Tunngle (google it) under RPG>Final Fantasy. Works with Mxc.

Im sick and tired of looking for a private server for ffxi

i want to fucking play on a STABLE LEGIT SERVER with PEOPLE

i dont want to create epic items and slay the dragon in one hit , i want a live legit server with a playerbase , an auction house full of items , and people talking and raiding

ive seen alot of crap on the net , and browsed TONS of forums , if anyone knows any REAL Servers people host , please drop me an email

Well... you got three choices.

1) Pay SE to play.

2) Help xworndownx make [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] better.

3) Fuck off.

^^ what they said. Dark star is the only team working on a server that we and yourself want. It wont be ready for awhile. There is no server that you speak of. Auction house is broken, so you should code your own or go away.

4. Download the DLX-PXI server and run your own server, your way.

Every single currently running private FFXI server is buggy. All of them. Hell, even some of those are poorly ran by who-ever is running them.

Here is a story:
I remember this one time I joined someone's server and the gm kept bugging me. He showed up next to me, with his uber gear and just kept asking who I was and what I was doing. I didn't say anything to him. I just wanted to play and be left alone. Was that so much to ask? I mean it was a public server after all. Anyways, so I ran off to play and this jackass Warps me to him for no damn reason at all. I was greatly annoyed and I left.
Now that is poorly ran.

Then there was this one time, this group was killing chigoe's and this jackass host decided to give the chigoe's the 2hr ability for king behemoth. Which killed them. Now people like th... OH! wait.. that was me. :D

You won't see a server full of people playing/grouping because 90% of the people playing on private servers just want to be kinda left alone. They may bring a few friends in and others simply run multiple characters. But, some also feel the same way. The servers out there are just too buggy to bother with. Granted.. most of the bugs are Script related not many running the server will bother to fix those bugs. Like missions, npcs, events can be fixed.

Well that turned into a bit of a post. Anyways, at this time the best options are to play retail, run your own buggy server, or wait a good 6-8months till the Dark Star server is further along. Was reading thru files and you xworndownx was the host who seen people killing chigoes and changed the abilitys cause you was hating on my skills.

I have a problem.
When I create a character, the screen goes black and freezes. When I select a race, the screen goes black and freezes. Only I create a character at first, but only human, now locks up when a second character.

I play DLX pxi 6.5. This is the most complete? or is the pxi 6.4? only i play offline, i need database more complete: misions, quest, npc, etc

I went ahead and installed the 2008 game, but I have been trying to find out something about my ultimate goal. If I manage to get this updated, and finish the process (currently have the original Project11 files, but would like to also ask if there is a better version out there (system files)), does the private server have the quests of the game? I just want to play the game to do the quest and kill the bosses. Any advice would be appreciated.
