[C(chinese)SRO]How to play!

Found the problem, I wanted to extract with the total commander's program, it is not enough.. installed win rar and it is working now :D

My Account is ready now, downloading client.. any advices? (Vista user)

Dont forget to run as admin .. update every possible driver and hopefully you wont have any problems with updating to 1.162 .. which is one of the main issues on the client.
Go for sure to a VIP server > 2x rates at weekend is such a big help, you cant imagine how much of a difference it is, dont beg and be polite .. GoodLuck on your cSro journey ;)

Well, it is not working for me yet, Downloaded the client v 1.160, then.. downloaded the patch (SROPatch(157_159).exe), it is in my cSro directory and when I run it gives an error message with a lot of ????????SilkRoad ??????. As far as I see this client is not install able like other clients, dont have setup.exe etc.. so how will this work exactly? (Also changed the sro.exe to the one you recomended for vista users)

Do I need proxy server settings for this like for iSro long ago?

lol.. I just searched on the forum you suggested, Poe and found the error.. didnt choosed division.. ???????????? and ???????????? plus pings.. thats all I have seen. hmmm.. getting closer to the goal is really exciting :D

Problems again.. patching stop at almoast the start.. It says 6%, /sro_client.exe

When I try to click on first line again, it is the Div01 I think.. then the following error message appear:

(small window) title: FreeDII Fail!, window text: Ref != 0

Then another error window, a bigger one:

title: BSObj Plugin
text: can't create file trasnfer manager! Maybe pack file corrupted or someone is already accessing it... Try a few minutes later.

I think the proxy server settings will be wrong, as I read on the other forum.. it needs a proxy server, right?

thats becouse ur version is 1.160 and you try to make it 1.159 again :')
you just had to push Div2 and let it update by itself.
division 2 doesnt need a proxy but Div1 does need a proxy ^^

Not really, you download version 1.157. You gotta use that manual patch to bring it to 1.160 and then let it update to 1.162 through the client.

When i wanted to move Silkroad from my old Computer to the newer one, i put it on my external HDD and dragged it into D:/ ! After 110 cap arrived, i just couldnt run this manual patch; i had to change somethin on the registry files, there were a guide about this also available here, where it had been clearly explained how to do it and what to change .. this could help you to run this manual patch possibly without this error ..

Well, ty everyone.. managed to update the game after a few tried on the div02. Managed to log on cSro, created character on the 1st server, loged out to change the media file, but it said after finish, the media pk2 corrupted.. after that I couldnt log on anymore with that. Extracted the mdeia pk2 file once more, and overwrited it. And now when starts, it is start to updating again. :\ I hope it will be resolved.. I really want to play this game. I was on the 3rd server iSro was launched and saw the game from the very begining. I am really want to see if I can get that relaxed atmosphere again when there were no gold farmer bots on every spot of the world of SRO.. also it is important for me to be able buy silk.

I suggest you again to choose a VIP server, best would be Ocean VIP since there are more known foreign players there. Second off, yea its kinda relaxed, you can always join with first try, its in best case populated, you wont see much goldfarmers, only a few from mBot Users but since mBot do not support CL, you wont encounter much Goldbots there. Lvl on weekend will boost your exp alot and you will be around 50-60 in no time. Try to talk to _slimshady_ from this forum, he might also help you a little bit and from time to time.
You wont encounter any pressure, and if your guildmates are cool, they will let and help you also kill Uniques and take you along for a nice exp boost there .. so hopefully you will have more fun then on iSro :)

About your issue with the corrupted daka pk2 .. geosep uploaded an english media pk2 for 1.162 .. download it and you shouldnt have anymore issues with it on updates :)

I am trying to download english media 1.162 again, hope it will work this time :( Dont even know how to chose servers or which one because of the text. What I chossed was the 1st on the list, created a character and saw it have a +77 lv 1 weapon as a start :O:O:O:O Thats is amazaing if we look at iSro.. where I had only normal weapons until lv 31 (full str blader, and hybrid int chars I have on iSro)

Media file dont translate server names, you have to add Chinese language pack to read Chinese those servers and check it out [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to find out in witch server are you.

IT IS WORKING NOW! :D:D:D:D I cant believe that!! I can see my favorite mmo rpg in english without full of bots eveywhere... Maaan YOU ARE THE BEST!! Thx for everyone!

I think I found it, some one pls whisper to ShadowBlade to check it.. how ever I have met to a player and he told me I am on the right server.. I just wanna make sure before start to play seriously.
