Hi NHC and gang,
As you all may know, Riot has started taking action on their end. With the last patch, they have attempted to make referral botting harder. This is due to the obscene amount of one player bot games finishing within 6 minutes (40% of games). This in turn, is creating a heavy load on their servers and thus prompting them to do something about it immediately. They are now thinking of changing the Refer a Friend program altogether to counter this.
As your bot has such a large user base, the introduction of random variables would make botting a lot less noticeable and perhaps have them think they have stopped the issue.
For example:
1. I assume that one team constantly loses, this will appear on their stats and is quite noticeable, as teams should have close 50/50 win rate. Changing it so that teams take turns winning would help.
2. Players with 0 points on the completion of dominion. No player should have 0 points if they actually played the game. Sending all bots to the middle to duke it out should result in some random kills as well as points.
3. Game length, randomising the game length would go a long way to not showing up on their stats as indicated. Perhaps 7-12 minutes would suffice. This can be done by controlling the time until capture.
Let me know if you need help with any of these things. I hope you take this advice and we can keep this up for a bit longer.
