[Video Tutorials] Shaiya EP4 Private Server By Omega

ello guys have a question, was following the video just like ti was and everything went fine but when i went to click install_server it doesn't work but gives me this.

did you install the sql server before you tried to install the server?

Remember before installing the server on windows vista and windows 7 you MUST turn off UAC then install the Server.

ok i fixed the problem, was simply cause i had the file on my desktop instead of my c: drive


but now i am having another problem i click start all and my arrows stay at a paused state, they dodnt even change into a >. they just stay a ||

Control Service -> Start All Server Service

Can i please know what all i need to download the SQL on to my computer ? it sais something about .NET 2.0 and crap when i try to install it. what do i need to do and how much will it be ? if you could message me my problem that would be great or post it on here .

if it tells you you need .NET 2.0 to install then you need .NET 2.0 LOL what do you need me to tell you that it doesn't already tell you?

Google is your friend just google .net 2.0 and download and install or you could always just update your windows. .NET comes in a Update through Windows Update.

Heya Omega. 1st Thank You for this awesome tutorial. 2nd i have a problem. when i try to make a char it says: "name already in use". any idea why?

u use the U.S which is ep5.

change:

C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Client\Bin\Config\ps_ga me
GamePublicIP: from whatismyip.org to 127.0.0.1

C:\ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Server\Config\PSMServer _Config
both <sv_publicip>: from whatismyip.org to 127.0.0.1

Then it should work

There are already a couple of threads about the name already in use issue; it's a little script you need to run and in some cases you have to do the index too

I cant download "Shaiya server"
so, I found that in another tutorial but only work on "d:"

I have checked and had other people check and the original files download link is fine so i don't know why you have a problem with them...

after installing Install_server and restart my OS , when windows is started , show it blue screen :l

i do not think it is related to the server files as they do not install to or manipulate the windows installation in any way.

All Server files are located in the C:\ShaiyaServer Folder
