@Hikaru: We mentioned in the previous thread that this boils down to you simply having put in incorrect information.
Have you followed all the steps of the install guide fully? You've installed and configured a full version of mysql AND run the database backup without having any errors?
Make sure that those steps are all followed before you try to do anything else. Once that is done then you can worry about running the redux project and filling in the fields with accurate information.
That error is literally saying "hey- we couldn't connect to mysql using the information you gave us". That means either mysql is not running properly or the information you provided is not accurate.

All the information is correct, I double checked everything, twice. I ran the backup with no problems, ran perfectly.
So about the mysql thing, mine does say something about missing elements or what not, it said something like this...
"High Severity Error - root element missing" followed by another high severity error that displays "Log file path must be defined before calling the WriteToLog method"
Now if that's the case of not letting me run the source, then I don't know how to fix this, yet.
I'll try another full reinstallation of MySQL. If you have an answer for the high severity error, please tell me, it would really help.
