911sky, Sweetie: I appreciate you and your efforts with Zygor et al!

Hey, thanks again for updating the thread and continuing to help the community by providing these.

I'm afraid to ask but, is there anyway to see what changed between updates?

Would you be so kind as to change the edit update message with what links were actually updated?

I find myself visiting the thread a lot to see if there are updates, but I end up not being able to figure out if I have the same version of things or not...

Thanks again!

Yea you can look up the changelog.
I did originally post a link to the changelog. So people would see the changes and the ones before.
But people kept on seeing it is a changelog, clicking it and then wondering why they could not download an addon. When they know it is a changelog.

So you would want me to change the update message as well as me saying what is updated in a post?

Thank you for the answer! <3

If possible? But if there's a changelog to the thread, it isn't needed then, and I'm just dumb! Where can I find the changelog? If it doesn't exist anymore, and of course, if it's not too much effort for you, I'd be very grateful to see what you've changed with each edit.

I have this thread opening with my browser, I keep checking for your good news!

I can't thank you enough for all this!:handsdown:

Well there was a changelog, but I had to change it every time. Then people wanted to know the changes before.
So I posted a link to the changelog. But people kept on complaining that the changelog would not download the addon. It says changelog, it was a changelog. But for some reason people thought a changelog was an addon.

So instead of repeating myself and sounding like a broken record, I removed the link.
So if people wanted to know the changes, they could look it up themselves.

Well I do not know what changelog you are looking for.

So I would look up, what you are looking for and changelog.

Like RXP changelog

That's... a bit dumb of people.
I see what you mean, I do lookup Zygor changelog for example, to see what changed between versions. What I mean is, I don't know what version your link is, or what the post edit actually changed.

Maybe include what you've changed in the edit message?

Either way, I'm sorry to ask for more when you're already giving so much.

Thanks for listening and the feedback!

Yea just go to the link and it shows what version is on the file.
Yea I change the post so much, I made it more simple.

You think that is bad. People would go to the thread, seeing the addon. Come make a post claim they are blind and stupid and claim it is not there. Then literally quote the link and deny it is there.

Whatever is more convenient for you I'm okay with it. For me simpler is better
11/19/2022 22:09 sertaq#6489
Or simply add a text saying somethig like:
Changelog can be found at: sitename.com/archive/
That could and should make it "easy" for people to know what it is. @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], I fully understand what you're saying in your posts regarding people either leeching and/or not being able to read simple stuff, or use the searchfunction.

And again, thanks alot for all your work.
11/19/2022 22:17 Im_Hunter_#6490
Just to clarify, I don't mean the changelog of the addon/ui itself, I mean the changelog for the actual thread post.

Either way, can't ask for more.

I did that before as it was helpful. But people kept on complaining that the changelog link was not the addon.

So you want me to list every single change in the first post?
When I say what is updated in a new post instead.

Thank you

Anyone want to take the guide from this

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Then write it to the RXP addon as guides. So it is the fastest route there is.

You don't see it because @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] hasn't got a version of it by somebody who is willing to share.
It seems like this is your first time here, usually when a new guide is launched, especially RXP ones, we have to wait untill somebody will share it.

Just wait and we will get it eventually.
