It does work. Saw this post yesterday, just did it by following the instructions and some common sense.

Works 100% perfect. Im using VM 6.5 and winxp on a quite low end computer (2.2ghz dual core, hd3850 512mb, 3gbram)

iso meaning an image of your OS.

Use your xp disc or look for a winxp iso torrent, loads floating around. Will be around 600mb.
Dont know if it works with vista myself, but even if you have vista you can still dl a xp torrent for you VM.

hey, i know this might sound really stupid.. but i dont know how to install an OS to my VMware. i dont have any windows XP.iso or any installer CDs. things like this is really hard for me. help anyone? :'(

He means copy the Grand Chase map/folder from where ever you installed it on your computer and paste it anywhere on your winxp that you installed on your virtual machine.

You need an winxp.iso or windows disc to do this. You cant do it without as you have to completely install a version of windows on your virtual machine (vm). You can download a winxp.iso with a torrent client. If you dont know what torrents are then just wiki "BitTorrent ". Or just borrow a disc from a friend or something, you can google for serials.

question will this take up alot of space and can you use vista on this

hey, thanks. i had it working, but the problem now is that when i start the GC client in VMware Workstation it always says: "Incorrect Parameter, the Program is Shutting down" and then a balloon will say: "ERROR: Can not connect to the Game Server. Please try again"
what should i do?
