When i try to connect with the server files posted in here or the normal boi files now its saying wrong client version so maybe the gate is worknig now but the client isnt tried 127.0.0.1 other windows ip linux ip lol both windows wrong version linux cannot connect (cause its windows ;p)

I can't login, always get a time-out login (test:123)

can anyone give me some hints or let me know what i'm missing?

I have to close the gate cmd then open it again and it works!

I think timeout error has to do with line.exe cause if you look in the folder it has line.exe.blahblah.timeout

files but we cant read them if you open them

Are you using the client downloaded from the playerattack whatever site? that's the one im using and i keep getting wrong client version

Not sure if its the client or something in my files wrong still need to make sure the dam client is right

the time-out for mine problem was the gate server was not loaded correct.
now i have to start it manually.

most of the time-out login errors i have so far are -> wrong ip, not connect to the mysql, not connect to the mssql

...just have to try again and again...now i'm off to find how to get items and mod stuffs... anyone know better program than excel to edit .slk files?

well im trying to fix this default password crap ive found it in compactau.exe if u use a hex editor to open it and search for 123 u will find that it is the 4th one u will find with hex workshop i can change it to any 3 digit combo say 999 then restart server start client and use test with pw 999 and i can login i was able to remove the password all together BUT
i havent been able to register a new account or use the reg page alex provided so im at a stand still as to making a new account with a password to test to c if i can login with a different password with password 123 removed from compactau.exe

Show me what a fully loaded gate cmd looks like with the text does it only say connecting and its working? or does it say connected etc whatever

It does connect to manager server cause i see it in the logs
Nothing in the logs about gameserver (there was till i was fucking with stuff now it says nothing about gameserver in the logs it was erroring before)

Not sure if this is new or old but linux dbserver.log

Manager[0] (ID = 1) is not connected, try to reconnect it.
Set send buf of socket is 262142

open authd.out (linux) in there it says

All working now after i downloaded a new client... timeout/char not saving tho xD

well im currently stumped on this password stuff ive looked at auth.out its only a log ive even went as far as decompiling the .class files for authd and still nothing think u could point me in rite direction either here or in pm LeRaz0r as other "devs" as they like to call them selfs wont help at all ass of rite now i know i can change the default password to abother 3 digit pass in compactau.exe via hex but thats about it

that from what i c is for inserting what i think it is well pretty sure buy that is a ways off as cant even test a new account invalid password bs not 100% sure is its from the 123 password or not but idk the reg page that alex released was prolly worng that or im just plain stupid lol
