"Yoona-ah! You're going to be really late!" Yoona's grandmother called her as Yoona scrambled to comb her long, curly hair. Her long curls rested on her shoulders, her side fringe at the side, swayed better than usual. Deciding she looked decent in her new uniform, she rushed out with her bag, kissed her grandparents goodbye, and went out of the house. Yoona whistled as she walked along the familiar route she walked on since she was seven. Lighted hearted and happy, she skipped energetically towards Seohyun's house. Ringing the bell, a well-made-up Seohyun appeared at the doorstep. "Yoona-ah!" She said with pleasure. "I just adore this uniform! It's absolutely cute! How excited are you?" "Totally!" She smiled with glee as the two best friends walked hand in hand towards their new academy, with butterflies in their stomachs, and hearts beating at full speed. Seohyun and Yoona were the ultimate best friends. They'd been best friends ever since they were in primary school. They were two absolute opposites. Yoona, who was energetic, cheeful and naive, cared more for her studies and music than her looks. Seohyun, on the other hand, was more moody and street-smart, and she could not have a single hair out of place. Both clicked, somehow, during the first day of elementary, together, inseparable ever since. "Oh my gosh." Seohyun gasped as she clutched Yoona with absolute awe at the school campus. Marbled floors, grand foyer, slabs of white concrete and brown brick, rough driveway with limousine parking. Omuni...appuji...this is amazing. I'm going to fulfill my dreams now. I'm going to become a famous violinist, Omuni. I'm going to be strong, Appuji. Give me the strength to carry on, guide me through this journey, stay with me... "You're suddenly so quiet. Are you surprised?" Seohyun patted Yoona's back fondly, then suddenly, her expression became solemn. "You're thinking about...your parents, aren't you?" Seohyun said sympathetically, patting Yoona's head, as if reading her mind. It was times like this when I felt that no one could understand me better than Seohyun, Yoona thought to herself. She seems like she doesn't know, but she does. Tears sprang into her eyes, she was ready to cry. A sudden horn interrupted their thoughts. A limousine stopped right next to them, the door opening, revealing three figures climbing out. A tall and handsome muscular boy, a stunning girl with long straight hair, and lastly, a boy with slightly curled blonde hair, a lithe figure, and very big eyes.

Yoona stared at them with awe - the three people had given off a type of radiance only one class would give out. That would be, the class of the rich, the upper class. An easily amazed Yoona could not keep her eyes off them. The beautiful girl with her long hair swishing from side to side, laughing prettily at the two boys, who were equally entertained by her. Could I ever become so pretty? To able to flirt so wonderfully, yet so naturally? With a heavy feeling in her heart, she sighed. The boy with big eyes turned around and caught the eyes of a tearful Yoona. He looked surprised at first, then he gave her a wink, much to her surprise. He walked up to her daringly, and took out a silk handkerchief from his pocket, gentlemanly handing it to her. "You're cute." He commented jokingly. "Some girls misinterpret the fact that they look pretty when they cry. That shall not be the case, shall it? Dry your eyes, pretty." He smiled charmingly at her, but, it gave off a totally innocent vibe, not as flirty as it was intended to be. "Yah! Kim Heechul!" The muscular boy yelled at the boy who talked to Yoona. "Don't flirt when your girlfriend's right in front of your face!" The muscular boy laughed, and the girl, supposedly Heechul's girlfriend, just stood there, laughing and smiling. "She looked pitiful, Taec. Get a life." Heechul snorted as the girl burst into peals of laughter. "You just flirt with any random person, don't you, Heechul?" The muscular boy chuckled as he glared at Yoona, who started playing with her fingers nervously. Heechul didn't answer, just laughed a bit. His girlfriend just giggle prettily, a total lady. Yoona backed off immediately, putting the silk handkerchief to her eyes. Seohyun saw this as a cue to drag Yoona away. It just wasn't good to be messing around with them, no matter who they are. Seohyun knew she was right, and Yoona, once again, was far too naive.
