I don't know if that's because it's an AMD or if it's because this board sucks. I usually use Asrock mobo's in my rigs but went with Asus because "they're so leet" everyone says...never again..the "white" ports on the board are "super fast" but actually slower than regular 6gb Sata ports, and the regular 6gb Sata ports are slower on this board than on my 3770k or my 4770k.
