[Video Tutorials] Shaiya EP4 Private Server By Omega

Awesome tutorial man, helped me out a lot i have been able to get everything up & running. As soon as i come across the correct solution for my fail to connect error ill be good to go.

But anyways great tutorial tyvm for your help, ill be sure to give you credit where it is deserved as soon as i figure this damn thing out hehe. Shaiya United will owe a lot to Omega that is for sure!

Hi!

First of all I would like to thank Omega and rest of EPvPers communty for the all these great tutorials and help, but my problem is, that today I was scanning my PC with Hitman Pro and it found a Trojan located in ShaiyaServer\SERVER\PSM_Client\bin\ files and if anyone else is aware of this problem and could it be possible be fixed.

That has to be a False positive. can anybody confirm this after a year it seems strange that now it is infected

Hi everyone, this is my last resort, I have read this whole area and have done what everyone said about getting message "can't connect to game server" I really don't like asking for help, but I am truly stuck.

I have checked all my ips and they are correct, I have made sure I have vchkoff and nprotectoff, I also installed with UAC off and firewall off.

and I still can not connect to server, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, thanks for all the great posts here.

What IP did you enter into the ini file where whatsmyip.com is located if it is an external IP you will need to foreward ports to allow incoming connections if it was 127.0.0.1 and the client and server are on the same machine check to make sure your services are running > and Not Paused ll after that make sure you edited the correct IP in the game.exe in the client.

I have green arrows where they are supposed to be and I changed all to 127.0.0.1 this is why I am so confused and why I came here, I am banging my head on my desk, I followed your tutorials and they were VERY GOOD and I learned alot until I got to this point, I have been here for 3 days reading everything trying to find a solution before I asked for help and it is probably something so simple but I just don't see it

Alright going to address first, the "trojan report". I can confirm the files presented by Omega, fully check out when scanned individually & during system scan. I suggest you read a little more about how virus databases work, as they sometimes can throw false warnings.

For you two who are having a problem connecting to your server, make sure you editing the IP in the game.exe CORRECTLY using the hex editor, as one tiny mistake can cause an issue. Next make sure your typing /vchkoff via login command & /nprotectoff via game command (server config) EVERY TIME you restart your server. If your doing all these things, make sure you patched correctly etc, there are many steps to these tutorials, and when followed 100% correctly you should have no problem getting a base Ep 4.5 server going. Pretty much Omega covered everything above, since you posted again just making sure you take it all in, and are doing it the correct way.

Also as this has been discussed in this thread if you log in and select server then get an error 0 check to make sure your linked servers installed correctly in the SQL Server

well I do all steps followed in Video and anyway still not work man, so don't know what I doing wrong.

yes I use Windows 7 64 Bits.

last question.. i finished everything.. but inside the game.. i cant connect to the server..it says.. "Failed to connect to game server!!!!"
