how can i restore database? i used batch file from server files but system says it cant find the path to database files for restoring database

umm yes well im have a problem pretty early on when i go to apply the windows registry its supposed to restart right? will it dont i restarted myself but that didnt do anything either so just wondern what i possibly done wrong

ok well comp still didnt restart but i was able to go past that part now,but now when i "start all service"thing they go into the green play button "Session"stays that away for about 5seconds the goes back to pause the others stay on play for 10seconds then go back to pause not rly sure what to do on this i read through this whole post but i still may have missed it the solution to this so if anyone wants to point me to it or just let me know how to fix it themselves would be rly awsome ty

do you extract the files in the original shaiya folder?

when services are starting "session" dont start. and then all the other services stop again. already tryed lots of times even start 1 by 1 and they allways stop alone

same issue for me - I'm running sqlserver 2008, but it did the same in 2005

only thing I strayed from in the pserver instructions was editing the files so I could run my server from my C: drive instead of D:

I'm only trying to setup a pserver to run locally so I can play around. I gave up after a few hours of messing with it, so if anyone knows why the services will start, then switch to paused after a few seconds, please let us know.

nope its in a folder all to its own

were is game.exe file?

if Zero could pls add me to msn in order to explain me a few things that tutorial say and I cant get them as the PSM_ServiceMgr in PSM_Server folder wich one only exist in PSM_Client folder.
and the why when start services it pause them like 10seg after.
I already fixed the ini files with my server name and it still not work.

or if anny one could explain me what is happening.

and if not too much when I try found that information in game.exe using a HxD it says he cannot found.

i wanna create my own server , but i'm a newbie of computers lol

my first question is : u need a D: Disk ? or can i use all letters ?

second question is : a virtuale disk is a NTFS disk ?

Especially if they never seen computers before, just some mmo's login screen...?
