Hmmmmm I think I just realized something about why the bot doesn't APPEAR to use Chips sometimes... if your character is too far away from the creature that it selects to attack, the character is first required to move a little closer, and only then can he Chip. Because of this reason, when botting, the bot continues to run to the creature in question instead of stopping first to Chip... so it's not the bot afterall, it's the game lol

Hope that clears it up for those of you who thought that it was porb with the bot :P

Here's another update on things I've been noticing tonight lol:

The tabbing feature after the bot encounters a known bottrop (in this case, Moon Rabbit), appears to tab, but, even though there's another real monster close enough (and in sight), it does tab to the next one... I've tested this by letting the script do it and then trying it manually (in the same place, same view, same position). I believe that when I tested this with the Megalacorus, it worked fine.

UPDATE: Hmmmmm appears that it works sometimes, and not others... lol have no idea why, but right now, the bot was able to tab between a few moon rabbits that were in the same area...

TY JT for adding what I asked for...I have a RP for you tell me ur lvl go i can match it to ur lvl. it's no fun when ur pet is too high or too low from your level.

I've had a problem with my bots traveling to far from a hunting area in the past. Does JT's bot somehow get around this? I fine myself hunting orcs and smaller creatures but its a pain.

Requests have been made for a method to move the character around when no mobs are found, but one of the reasons why JT has been so reluctant to add such a feature is related to what you just asked... there's no real way to implement a running feature without it being comlpetely blind... that being said, JT's bot also has no way of keeping you in a designated area, so the bot will take you where the mobs will lead you...

But, you never know... JT's a smart cookie, and might come up with a way to achieve such an effect afterall... but addressing the current issues and keeping the bot as stable as possible is top priority, so if you're worried about your character wandering, chances are, it'll probably happen :p

completely doable... I will be considering suggestions to improving the bot after I fix the line -1 error some are still getting.

My only problem with that... it would erase your previous version... and we all know, I place some extreamly beta stuff out there so it would render the bot useless to everyone when I goof up like that.

I got a little problem with using it with a warlock, the attack skills, how often are those done ? i mean at first it chips, then uses F1 ... then the attacking skills are used when ? coz all it's doing is it chips and presses f1...the other attack skills (even tho the option is turned on on the bot settings) it still doesnt go thru the attack skills most of the times...and a few times it did but REALLY slow between them...i mean slow to the point that the mob nearly killed me hehe. Has anyone else tested this on a warlock ?

Also im not sure if you are aware of this small bug but sometimes when the player is far from the mob and begins to run to it to attack it, sometimes the delay passes and it triggers the auto-trap rotate, so it retargets..problem is that until it retargets something else, the character would have attacked it and then when it retargets and goes for the other mob, the previous one which is not yet dead keeps attacking you....then when it retargets the previous mob after killing the current one, it sees that it doesnt have full hp and retargets something else...so it keeps attacking you causing you to die.

sorry if it's confusing hehe. maybe you could fix it by making the delay of the auto-trap detection configurable ? the running speed of a strider and a summoner with 70% weight is not the same..so maybe we could configure manually its delay from the gui ?
