^I guess not. At least not completely. I have watched it for like 24 episodes and it was getting boring somehow. A friend of mine also dropped it half way. He said that later in that anime it's getting repetitive and boring.

depends on what genres you like
if you prefer a kawaii ecchi onii-chan anime than a good drama thriller comedy sci-fi romance what ever animu (can't define the right genre for steins;gate) - steins;gate would be definitely the wrong anime but at least you should try it
