guys how do i set up my host file if i have windows vista it wont let me change my hosts file

If no 1 can find an solutiion this proplem which every 1 as i can see is facing then its useless to do coz it cant be the whole world is noobie

it never works man tried ur steps and even other steps that no 1 could think about it still the same cant log in coz of maintence

hmm. im just wodering.. what mode should you choose if ull ganna typa the commands?
is it whisper? talk? or sumthing?

i do it in team or wisper but dosent matter just incase yu make a mistake and ppl see it

i have followed all the instructions to the letter (or so it seems!) but when i try to login the client, a message comes up saying that it cannot connect to the server. i have searched the forums for possoble answers to my problem but to no avail. if there is someone out here who would like to help me learn a lil more about this subject or help me with my problem, it would be much appriciated.

I dowloaded all net2 files and already extracted ur files into my co2 folder... now it keeps saying same error has some ppl here have. failed to conect duo to internet/server congestrion or someting... Im from kylin server the strange thing when i tried other servers noone i cant log but i can log only on baby icey....0.o.... and my ip kylin its same has Myths group server u tould me. Server1=Kylin

doesnt you need edit the v3n0m01.configuration settings and change there your servers ip ?

remoteloginip=69.59.142.13 <--(edit this ip to your servers ip)
proxyip=127.0.0.1 <--(put this ip on your server.dat)

mmm, everything works fine, and all the effects are working, but there is a little dilemma. Every time I try to type in a command into the proxy, it won't let me...a little help?

Leave v3n0m01.ini as it is like this.

And the server.dat should look like this.

The 127.0.2.1 server ip worked for you,but not everyone's computer or internet is like your's you cant asssume everything is the same for everyone.Anyway what you posted is what you get when you dled v3n0m so you just spammed.

@The others who tried the ips but didnt work:Go start>all programs>command prompt,type in "ipconfig" without the quotations,check your ip address then put that as your server ip.Most of the time that worked,if it does'nt it probably means that you have done something wrong.

P.S:You need to change the v3n0m01.ini server ip if your server's ip is not the 216.93.174.65 one,as mentioned in the guide.
