[Release] Metallurgy Bot

Nope, I do not know those AVs lol.

Regarding the bot; the script works and all (my mouse pointer moves around the screen, inventory opens, looks around and moves forward), but it doesn't load the skill. I guessed this must be because it couldn't find any ores, so I took a SS of the silver deposits and replaced it. It still didn't work.

Now when maintenance start, I noticed that the folder they were at were "Metallurgy bot/Metallurgy bot", so I thought "Could it be the script is searching for the images in the first folder which is empty?". It seemed like a plausible possibility, but when I was just about to test it, mabi went down =[

Can anyone tell me if my guess was right, or if I was wrong, what do I need to do to get it to work?o-o

PridefulGod, it uses F1 for the metallurgy skill, so set your skill to F1 I failed to mention that in my post. Sorry about that, also all the images and such must be in the same folder. Anyway I've almost finished making it do what Adam suggested, the check for sieves only when the skill cannot load anymore and such then tab to secondary equipment, though I'm not really sure if the secondary equipment will really b any use, it's only one more pan. But that is just my opinion.

@SSDarkLink Well....I already tried that (wasn't sure so I put metallurgy in all Fs from F1 to 12 lol) but it didn't work. =/

I also changed to "Sky Blue Glass" thingy and tried different zoom distances to no avail.

@PridefulGod, I have no idea as to why it won't load, run it as Administer and try. I may make the new bot click the skill on the slots with the mouse instead.

adding mouse movements to click the skill will slow it down overall so like you suggested it could be that he isn't running it with admin.

making it detect that the skill loaded or failed and then check if sieve is broken and then grabbing it from inventory to replace was a ***** to code and get working on mine...

Yeah, I'd never have it click the skill. It's a total waste of CPU resources.

I'd also assume user error.

@Shaggy, that code isn't very hard to do, making it check if the skill never loads is actually quite simple, that about half a minute of coding really. As I said though, using the secondary equipment would really be a waste of time in this case though, why even bother swapping over for one extra pan when it could be in your inventory, worried about space? I can make another whole script to just dump the old pans, or give you a message at the start asking if you want to dump them.

msg's stop the script so best to have it run 24/7 if possible, my solution was gui check boxes and an ini if they want to drop them/swap them.
and changing to the secondary sieve does help (kinda) if you do it once a loop it make them last longer in between times before you need to replace them or after you do replace all extras in first slot then you could tab and get one more 5/5 sieve so yea...
and i had problems getting it to detect the skill loading and with it detecting broken/good sieves but anyway its fixed now; took me 3 functions and 70 lines of code so i'd love to see a simplier solution when/if you open source release it again.

I got it so it says silver above the spots, and i also got it so the program spins and clicks to walk to areas presses alt to see silver in gray, but thats it... Then it just repeats. i dont think its targeting the ores. mind telling me what resolution you play on so it will detect your picture, or explain to me what im suppose to do? ive tried uploading my own screenshot reformatted bitm. but it didnt do anything. I used pain to erase everything else and switched its format is that okay?

I'm running it as admin, if I don't run it as admin, the scrip doesn't work on Mabinogi's window mode's screen (same with autoclickers).

As I said before, the script seems to be running (mouse movements, hotkeys pressed, etc), but it doesn't load the skill and simply keeps going around looking for ores, as if there was nothing there, which makes me think it can't detect the images.

As the above poster said, is there a special resolution/reason why it can't find the ores?

does it load the skill? how can you tell if hot keys are working? does it ever use metallurgy skill or attempt to use it? is it just not clicking on anything to use it. inventory open/closes?
if it is being loaded then its most likely just the pictures you need to replace since you have already tried, try again and make them just the words 'Ore','Silver','Gold' and same name as the ones replace ore2.bmp,site.bmp,gold.bmp and you can't change the format or file name they should be 24bit bitmaps since its the best to use with image searching.

If it's moving to the location where silver is, then it has in fact found the image, if it only spins and moves you a bit forward every time, than it has not. If it's detecting the spots but not hitting the F1 key, I haven't really got the slightest clue. If it just spins each time I'll say that it isn't finding the images and to screen shot the silver spots and such and name them as same as the old like Shaggy said.

It doesn't load the skill. It presses "Alt" to check for orders, opens inventory too. It doesn't ever use it or attempt to use it. It can't use it since it doesn't even load the skill. Yes, the inventory opens and closes.

Although it isn't being loaded, I replaced all the images, just like you said, but nothing changed. It spins the screen, moves a few steps forward, holds "Alt" to check for ores, spins the screen, moves forward and so on.

It only spins and moves me a bit forward every time. It is not detecting the spots, I took screenshots of "Silver", "Gold", and "Ore" and renamed them "site", "gold", "ore2" and saved them in 24 bitmap format.

Is there a special way to take the screenshots? As in....a certain distance, day/night time, etc? (I took the screenshots at the limit distance.

Does this work for nekojima on a fresh download? Saves me time modifying it then
