Since so many people are struggling with this i spent approximately 3 minutes on google and have come up with this page for you:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

This details exactly the steps you need to take to clone the repository locally.

And for those struggling to install TortoiseHG, you need only download the relevant version for your operating system here:

And please remember that feedback is crucial for me.

this was in the first page but I wanted to bring this to your attention asap. The projects 'Core' and 'Server' are 'unsupported' in this version of the applications(Visual C# 2010) the others load fine.

Ill have to look into that, they were built in Visual Studio 2010, so ive no idea what would make them unsupported, you got the latest version of VS2010? Im using Visual Studio 2010 Professional dunno if that would make any difference.

@Korv: Im using the updated version of VS C# 2010, The other work but just those two dont.

@DreadNought, did you configure everything correctly?

Show me your About page for visual studio.

Also theres no project called Server, so i have no idea what thats referring too.

Edit:

I have just updated the repo, i have made an attempt to fix the querying for entities within the tree, it appears to be abit temperamental but works most of the time, ive still to iron out some issues with it, entities sometimes get removed and dont get added to the correct sector and just become lost untill re-entering the sector which they were previously in.

Also it still appears to have issues with spawning all the monsters in the query, i cannot think of a cause for this, ill have to spend quite abit of my time looking into it (sigh).

Shouldn't be a project for a normal Conquer Online source, you should check the features comparison.

Hmmmm?

Thanks. Trying to learn C# and start my own private server, and really wanted to work with a 1.0 server.

A number of people have made online clones, i must point out this is not what your aiming to create unless you wish to produce your own open source project based off this open source project.

You need to create a local clone of the repo, thats all.

So I know that the Auth/Game servers pull certain information from the command line (names, version, port) but it only seems to work when using F5, to do it without opening visual studio, I have to use command prompt (just executing the bin/release files gives errors). Is it supposed to be like this or am I doing something wrong?
