The only reason you find it stupid is because you have a hard time understanding it.
This isn't an intelligent nor creative way to scam people.

Even if you use free remote hosting with false information the process would go like this:

• The free hosting company gets a report from a victim or good-doer.
• They check the mandatory logs for the web servers at the time of the creation of your account and get your IP address
• Although the IP address may be dynamic, they have a date at which this IP was used, your ISP is required to keep all logs of IP range access
• The ISP tracks the IP to the purchase information containing your legal location or reseller record
• They terminate your service and black-list you and possibly give you a lawsuit for breaking their terms and conditions

If you had a one-step proxy enabled, there are very simple ways to flood proxy servers until you get a match and go to a site that records their last locations which may contain personal information they can track you by.

Another danger is even if you had a web-proxy, your DNS may not be covered by it and your true IP can be requested from the DNS provider based on an exact URL request.

If you have a slow multi-node or "onion ring" proxy such as Tor, you are generally safe but there are still ways to track you.

If someone is determined to get you, they can with aboslutely no federal involvement.

Even the "elite" can have a hard time removing records, because now there are far too many protections and far too many instances to handle.

The best thing (is you are rich and have alot of time) is to create an own ISP and you will have 10+GB/S and your isp won't tell anybody. :)

This is to let you know, people can use this type of scam in the real world.
I am not suggesting you use it but you know the existance of this scam.

THANK U DM hahahahha i told u guys this is not illegal and even if it was why would a game spend lots of money to find out whos scamming lmao and y would they call the fbi or csi to track down ur ip number lol this is hilarious that u think that the fbi is gonna come to ur door and say ur arrested for scamming!

Upload to your server if it supports Php and email.

Then you send email to possible Co Players that you want to scam.

They then put in their Co Username and password and the page sends them to your email acc.

Its nice phishing!

well all this talk is about scamming, scammers are just noobs who cant level there own asses, so the scam peoples account, people that have worked there asses of making an account, so .. tbh this is stupid and rather sad
