Speedhack with CE

I've been playing around with his method for a while now, but GG never starts up with Cabal so I get disconnected...

I'm going to try and get it to work later on tonight, but I have a few things I need to do today.

These are the addresses I added to hosts instead of those that were in the guide:
127.0.0.1 gameguard.cabalonline.com
127.0.0.1 gameguard.cabal.com
127.0.0.1 gameguard.cabal.net
127.0.0.1 82.219.34.1
127.0.0.1 cabalonline.com

I don't know which is the right one, but with all of them added to hosts it wont contact their server and will instead download from yours. After GG is starting up with Cabal I'll remove one and one to see which addresses is needed in hosts. I don't think all those 5 are needed, but I just added all of them to be sure. :)

gameguard.cabalonline.com is the right address :)

This method is a great idea, but you need a old version of GameGuard for CABAL first, another games versio wont work , as you would need to edit update.cfg..

update.cfg Structure:~
Update.cfg -> Zipfile (update.cfg)
ZipFile(Update.cfg) is Encrypted.

I thought so, but I didn't backup my folder before the update... did anyone else? <.<
I tried searching on Google for it, but it's just old versions of GG for other games. When you install the game, is the gameguard folder already there? It should have a old version if that's the case, but I'd guess it isn't there when you install the game. It probably creates when you start the game. :&#092;

So, if anyone didn't do a backup before the update we're all screwed?

I didnt start cabal now for more than 4 days ;o

nah just remove your hosts changes and run game like normal gameguard will automaticaly go and fix its self.

wow! maybe our saviour! :D don't update your game, maybe you have the old files :)

but i'll uninstall the game to see if there is old gameguard :)

I know that. :) I was thinking about bypassing GG. If someone didn't do a backup of GameGuard before the update came we'd all be screwed.

there must be a possibility to avoid to get catched by gameguard. u can run the ce for like 20 seconds ingame , hehe nearly 3 rooms in an dungeon then u get d/ced, if anyone got an idea how to avoid to get disconnected pls work on it <3 would like to use ce again :D
