Quick & Easy DMA Buying Guide

Hello.

I'm new to dma and took some time to read threads about dma for a while. I see you got great thread here and if you don't mind I want to post some questions regarding dma.

1. When I looked up on aliexpress, some decent seller rating shop sells 75t cards with pro and pro mix with few dollar difference. Do they make any significant difference in performance between them?

2. Similar to above question, does version difference in makcu matters? (non, V2, and V3).

3. My game of interest is Warthudner, using battleye for anticheat. For long term play, Is it better to clone donor card and make own fw rather than using fw like ekknod? I'm not planning to play game with VGK and FACEIT.

Thanks!

When you say "second PC doesn't matter" why is that the case? The 2nd computer shouldn't be good? I feel like this is the hardest part for most people.

Appreciate you creating this thread!

Still ok use these dma cards via adaptor with a laptop or should laptop users splurge on those m2 dma ones?

If the former, you have any good adaptor to recommend?

The second PC only really matters if you’re running an ultrawide with a high refresh rate on a D60 or a DC500. For a standard-resolution, standard-size monitor (around 24–27 inches), the second PC isn’t a big factor unless it’s some decade-old Windows XP machine, lol. Most modern PCs and laptops can handle a standard setup without any issues since the resource demand is way lower than with an ultrawide.

Honestly, the best thing you can do is ask the seller for the technical specs, because some cards have power requirements that laptops can’t handle. The seller can check with their customers and confirm whether it works, and which laptop series people have successfully used it with.

Lol yeah my neck I can already see that if it gets annoying I’ll just grab a fuser

The reason your firmware works in COD but not Fortnite is because EAC has blocked it. The version of EAC that Fortnite uses is extremely aggressive toward DMA. Some providers handle this better than others, but if you plan on making it yourself, expect it to be more difficult than building one for COD.

Hello, I'm currently planning to have dma hardwares for BE. For long term playing, is it better to make custom fw from donor card or any of free fw like ekknod be ok?

Is a Mini PC worth it I really just want to use ESP and Aim?

Or do I need a actual PC for aim?

I still have a 1080p monitor lol. I don't think I need anything crazy computer wise then.

For an aim controller, if you play on controller, you will need a Xim. If you use mouse and keyboard, you will need a MAKCU, Ferrum One, or a Teensy.

If you can make your own, that’s always the ideal option. If not, Ekknod will work for now, at least until BattlEye ever decides to clamp down on DMA.

Yes, you will need a second PC. Since you’re using 1080p, a mini PC will work perfectly fine.

I've been researching DMA all day through your Guide and some guy on YT named Tabz lol. You've been a lot of help and I appreciate you responding.

I have a DMA Card, Fuser and Makcu in my cart.

Three questions:

1. So basically all I need is another Monitor that is also 1080p 240hz since my main monitor is 1080p 240hz, and a Mini PC and I am all set? (firmware i will decide later)

2. I currently use DisplayPort, is an HDMI and a DisplayPort really big deal when it comes to a Fuser? I always thought DP is better than HDMI. So I have a DP fuser in my cart.

3. For a Mini PC, where would I put the DMA card? I am looking to buy a 75MT, and i don't see a PCI slot on Mini PC's.

I appreciate your help man.

The second monitor doesn’t matter, it doesn’t need to match your main one.

DisplayPort is the better option, but some people don’t have enough DP ports, so HDMI works as long as your monitor and the fuser both support HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.0 only goes up to 100Hz, thus the need for HDMI 2.1.

The DMA card goes into the slot on your main PC, not the second PC. The second PC’s job is to run the cheat and send the overlay through the fuser to your main PC (monitor), along with anything else.

Hey 0x41^4 I just flashed my macku and left and right port were both successful but then when plugging it the correct way the macku installer was saying disconnected and I had no CH343 in my device manager so then I plugged everything into normal USB2.0 and everything worked I’m on v2.7_1 The only thing that didn’t work was the mouse test command but other than that it was working on my main PC is everything fine? Am I good to go and I only have 2 green lights on the left side.
