There is no clear choice, all providers are currently good. Besides Aimex and now Mobius who exit scammed most providers were never detected on COD and probably won't be.

I beg to differ, there have been a lot of additions to the anti cheat recently as well as targeted detections (also towards EngineOwning but we were able to fix them before any customer was affected).

I agree with your remarks that unpopular providers are safe to an extent. I think that providers like yours with competent developers behind them who have lower user bases will be OK longer term, but sometimes when you talk it sounds like you are saying all low user base providers are safe. Unless I'm misunderstanding. I would disagree with that. Some providers get detected with 50-200 users just because the generic improvements of the anti-cheat catch whatever nonsense/paste they are doing

& you may not have noticed it because you have a small userbase & good dev(s), but Ricochet has been improving and targeting providers quite a bit

Yes I misunderstood. You are right that having low users is a good security factor. Same goes for making less noise in terms of advertising. Activision seems to particularly not like cheat media (videos, TikToks, etc)

I feel like Phantom overlay is the only safe solution, but then I feel like they're going to get targeted so I'm unsure, any ideas?

PO or Interwebz is the answer

IW stops injections after every game Update. Every single one.
Therefore they saw 'oh ricochet targeted this time a few things in our cheat' according to their Admin.
So they fixed all before enabling injections again. If they would not disable injections it would be detected and many users would catch an Perm.

I use aimex and you should rly try it :)
