(Charity Server) Can we do this?

No, you can't.

I'm old enough in this scene to know who can and can't work together, who will and who won't work together, no matter the cause, even if someone that was liked by the community in the past and suddenly we would start a gofundme for that person, that wouldn't work either.

It's pretty simple, the way we, the people who have been server owners, have grown in this community is with toxicity from the majority and no one cares even remotely about one another, the 0.1% are hidden in their own corner and you won't see them, just like me.I disappeared back in 2017ish and I've just been helping a handful of people in the background.

Now, I don't know you or your intentions nor do I care if I'm gonna be honest, whatever this attempt is, it's either a bait or a waste of time.Get offended by what I say if you want, like I said, I don't care.

My advice would be to live and take care of your own life, no one else is gonna do it for you.

Let's say you are right, and the project will be filled with great members who have no goals but to help poor people.

Okay, you mentioned you will need a sponsor to pay the machines 500$, and that's monthly, you will also need 100$ ads monthly, so it's 600$ monthly

Now you collect the donations to send it to the help-poor organization that you trust, the most trusted one will at least take 30% for their electric bills, member's salaries, and place rent

so let's say you collected 5,000$ in the first month, let's see how much will the poor people get
5,000 - 500 (monthly machines bills)
4,500 - 100 (monthly ads)
4,400 - 30% (help-poor Organization)

now you have 3,080 out of 5,000 (and this will only happen when you have all clean team and organization)

so the poor people lost 1,920$ out of 5,000$ every month

So what should we do instead?
DO THIS
1) help your family, the poor ones
2) help your neighbors, the poor ones
3) help your friends, the poor ones
4) help your city
5) help your country

how is that? man to man, by hand, do not have something in between, make the 10 bucks out of your wallet to the poor person hand instant with no taxes.

if we do that, we will have the community peace someday, the poor people will have a smile when they see you, if you lost your child somewhere in the park, for example, you will see the poor people searching with you, because you helped them directly, they know you.

Not an organization asks them for papers, and they have to go in line and to travel from city to city, just to get the money, they will feel so bad after that, they will wish they never went there to get some bucks.

Help the ones you meet every day, and don't act special, everyone is poor, everyone is missing something already, help the ones below you, and the ones above will help you, or at least this is what we hope.

In response to your comment which I respect, I do help poor people, and I do help my family, I can't expose more so I don't lose the reward for what I did as my religion says and commands me.

I will comment on 2 points.

1:- We will get a 100% non-profit organization to take care of the donation, they will deliver 100% of the funds, and I already gathered some information about some of them.
2:-Server will be based on the reputation and the good case "Charity" Which means, we are not a random server that gets 5~10k$ funds in their life time, big servers gets at least 50~100k$, that's makes difference in people's lives.

I'm gonna just comment on your last sentence.
We all gonna die at the end, no one is immortal, leave something for people to remember you with. Some people are forced to live in poverty cuz of many circumstances and things beyond their control, we can't tell them to take care of their own life. Life is not fair, people who live in poor African tribes didn't choose to live there, and nobody cares about them. I'm sorry but I don't agree with you, where's your humanity? I don't care too if you don't have feelings for those people, and I didn't get offended.

Charity is a lie, its just as money making as any other business.

about the finance it's simple charity server doesn't mean that the team members will pay for that, it's simple just if server earned 1000$ monthly and costed 500$ then we still have 500$ !

I don't want to repeat myself, but the best way is hand to hand.

1) you see a poor person
2) you open your wallet
3) you give him the charity
4) and a smile can be so much value at this moment

that's it, no project needed. Let's not waste poor people's money.

there are charity organizations that uses payment system api
you may use one of them and let money goes to deservable people directly without any interaction or benefits of the server administrators
or the players can donate to any charity and then they contact administrators with solid proof of the payment then they take their silks otherwise for me it gonna be a scamm

We don't need api system, we can use Paypal to make an automatic donation system. (Organization's Paypal ofc)

With due all respect, we are not wasting poor people's money, we are just making greedy people more richer, even if we donated 1000$ to poor people, its still good thing.

I'm a server owner, and I'm not suppose to say this, but servers are making atleast 50k$ profit, even if we managed to get 20% of this number to be given to people who need it, its still a great achievement for me and for everyone who's participating.
