They actually asked for an email, however I wasn't aware at the time who they actually are (It was half year ago as you can see on the screen and they were about to start soon). It came out a bit later while the conversation goes on so I think thats actually my foult.

However thats still a bit poor to ask for a video that canot be even recorded on their own server. They literally asked me to record it on my own priv since the landscape stuffs looks always the same.
Also they were well aware of my videos and that all of them were recorded on privs and they didn't had any problem with that while making the request. They were even amazed by how good it was all prepared.
Even tho we were talking at the time now they striked 2 of my videos on YT. They did same for wiNT.
I guess they realized that people like to play on privs more and they try to get some people... the problem is that people that are not Turkish will never play it so they stick on privs.

Yep, I was waiting for something like this too happen eventually. It happened to other mmo's and games multiple times. Tbh, I think after couple months GG will just give up on banning and striking people with DMCA. Is not the first time something like this is happening.

ya i remember long time ago joymax had been closing facebook pages named sro , but in point of time they gave up. but literally i dont think these turkish gonna end it up like that, gamegami wouldnt deal with joymax if they see it as a lost case anyways at the end of the day its virtual communities if they closed one another will be raised up and thats it

By far, if thats the real reason Electus is gone... thats fine. In my opinion they are just trying to "force" the owners to shut down just to grab their players, because lets be honest 90% of Electus playerbase is from Turkey. So they got what they asked for.

Things being said, just switch your streams to youtube for now and just don't target Turkey if you want to build another server. Simple as that.

Not True. Me, wiNt and Zhion got multiple videos blocked by them so it's not only electus. Switching to YT will not save the problem since they even ban less popular videos that are just simple gameplays. They are rly mad if they have time to hunt even such insignificant videos.

Yeah I agree. The funny thing is, I didn't even add tags to my video like "SRO" or "Silkroad Online". It looks like they browsed through the Private Server pages and found my video in our topic.

Very strange, I had like 100-200 views lol.

Just added a commant under their video. Let's see if they will respond to that.

It is not weird, it is pathetic. Due to the fact that he milked players over years made a ton of money and suddenly he ran away like a bleeding bitch, without giving a proper announcement to his community or better to his "family". Some ppl might be disappointed about electus, i am not. Also don´t forget about his "1-year-uptime-guarantee" - Players can claim on it. Surely not every dude stays calm, especially those who donated thousands of dollars every season, those who supported him like crazy and now they need to accept a lame "good bye". And surely it is not a kind of postpone by prox cuz of other servers - whole situation is way too serious for that. He might be also scared to lose Money due strikes or further different problems. I hope his gf is not a gold digger :handsdown:. However, i know how hard copyright infringement can hit you in life, but leaving the whole scene like he and his crew did...is full of weakness.
