Understanding HWID ban/ shadow bans

Sorry guys for responding to a old thread. i just had a question about if i am hwid banned or not.

I was hosting timescale cold war lobbies for my friends back in december when i got banned. i got banned on the 10th of december (i believe it was a ban wave). now i made a new account and i am trying out the free zombie trial. I cant find any public lobbies (figured its a shadowban). but i have been playing solo for about 40 minutes. is there still a possibility i am hwid banned?. because i saw a earlier post that if you are hwid banned you get banned on launch of the game. which i am clearly not.

No chance you're HWID banned. If you were, you wouldn't be able to launch the game.

alright. thank you for answering. is there a possibility that bans are delayed?

A friend of mine told me that if i am shadowbanned. it will take 7 days to get banned. i am just not sure what to believe. sorry if i am sounding like a retard. i just dont want to get my hopes up.

If you're HWID banned, it happens as soon as you try to connect to the game services.

If you're simply shadowbanned, you could be banned anytime within the 7-14 days, but it is highly unlikely unless you continue to cheat on the account that is under manual review. If you stop playing the account and play something else, you wont be banned.

Hey mate. I was banned on my main 2 months ago and shadowbanned on my secondary account as well.

My disks were running RAID 0 array(did that for EFT cheesing)

Now 2 months later, with just a clean windows install, I am playing Warzone on new fresh accounts without permaban or shadowban.

Do you think this is happening because of the Raid 0?

No. You already went through the shadowban process, which expired, so now you are free to play without restrictions.

Had that shadowban turn to a permanent ban, you would’ve been HWID banned and Raid0 would’ve helped with that... but since it didn’t, it was a standard ban and you’re good to go now.

So just to clear some of the confusion.

HWID Permanent Ban needs to wait 2 weeks make a new account and you can play?

No.

HWID bans need a spoofer to play again.
Permanent bans you need to make a new account, play, get shadowed, then wait 2 weeks.

Hello everyone it is 1/30/21 and I have found myself in a predicament. Like many of us I have gotten tired of the hackers and decided to get some myself and end up getting myself banned.

My actual account I use is now shadowbanned.
I created an account when I first started Warzone on ps4 and was not that good so I bought a PC with the first covid check and made a new account and switched to KBM and had double the KD and wins. (i grew up playing 1.6 and css so kbm is easy for me)
I used my original account that was from my ps4 and used that account with my hacks and not my nice KD nice win account.
In the process of this I found out my nice KD one is shadowbanned and then I just got two others shadowbanned buying cheap accounts online not understanding that I am HWID flagged.
Now that I understand what is going on I just have one question:
After the 14 days go by will I be able to go back to my nice KD nice Win ratio account since I never hacked with this account? or is it gone forever? Not like I was a god or anything but I had a 2.14kd with about 140 wins

Thanks a bunch for being so helpful in here. This thread has helped me understand what is going on. I am not sure if I will use a spoofer or just wait out the 14 days I am still deciding

Yes. Any account that is now banned but only shadowbanned can be used once the shadow expires.

woher weiß ich dass mein Shadowban nicht in einem permanenten konvertiert?`
Habe auf meinem Mainacc gehackt für 5 games und das ziemlich auffällig, war am nächsten Tag direkt shadowbanned, vorher ein jahr lang ohne hacks gespielt und geld investiert.
hebt sich der shadowban auf? oder wird das zum perma?
soll ich in so ne 350er ping lobby gehen und normal spielen damit die sehen dass ich nciht hacke oder was kann ich jetzt am besten tun?

Neuen Account machen und zwei Wochen warten und schauen, ob der Shadow Ban sich aufhebt.

Bei den 350er ms Lobbies wirst du bloß mit anderen Cheatern gematcht welche ebenfalls einen Shadow Ban haben. Mit Glück ist dein Mainaccount nach zwei Wochen auch wieder spielbereit, aber bei mir war das leider nicht der Fall und nur auf meinem neuen Account konnte ich wieder frei spielen.

Es bringt immer eine gewisses Risiko, aber dem bist du dir mit Sicherheit bewusst. :rolleyes:
