I took the stuff of you guys and implemented it into a GWA2 File

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]z your GWA2 had some functions missing like, display / clear titles or destroying weapons

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] thanks for your effort!

i generated a new repo if some1 is interested and now i'll be working through the code / fix stuff there

i took the approach from rheekz with the seperated header file, but i edited the Headers to a better naming convention and also made them as "constants" instead of normal variables
Also grouped them into certain "actions" so you can easily get through the list, when updating them

the current version has this bugfixes:

bugfix: wrong header at opening chest (both of your scripts had this wrong)
bugfix: implemented an better approach in logging the character names (dynamic arrays, by autoit)
Really love the look off this, thanks for the work!

I worked on the updater and found over 20 headers in gwbible and gwapi.

I tested the updater with some scripts and it seems to work quite well. I didnt find any missing functions anymore. I guess once I settled on a variable naming version and tested it once more thoroughly I will publish the updater.

I actually liked the naming scheme of tjubutsi better than mine. It does show which functions calls it and there is really no need to have more than one name for each action. But in the end I dont really care xD

You have had some slips in your naming, these variables dont have the HEADER_ prefix:
Code:
Global Const $HERO_CLEAR_FLAG
Global Const $HERO_PLACE_FLAG
Global Const $PARTY_PLACE_FLAG
Global Const $PARTY_CLEAR_FLAG

GJ on all those fixes on gwa2 btw :D

If you love that tool then just use this. Its Tomisaz's Development tool from GR which uses GWA2. You can just copy your current coords to clip board and paste them into your script and make them on the fly. I literally just have a universal script with every function I need and a GUI, and just switch coords between them. Makes it sooooooo easy to code scripts.

Nice tool! I've used the one that Jcaulton developed, as well.

Could you please share your universal script? I have a good idea of the way it would be set up, but I'd like to make sure that my idea is correct.

and so epvp devolves to monkeys again
04/07/2018 18:07 phat34#58
...if it acts like a monkey, looks like a monkey, and smells like a monkey...

afraid so... or maybe just a elephant demi-God - never claimed to be perfect

ps. never could get gwapi to run more than ten hours without a crash...probably just a header 1 off or smth.

I've been digging through this thread and attempting to find similar fixes among other threads as well.. I can't seem to get my Gigi Vaettir script to work.

I've updated the GWA2.au3 file to the most recent. At first I got an error saying:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Line 3322 (File <File location of VaettirComboRunv3.0.au3>):

Func SetDisplayedTitle($aTitle=0)
Error: Duplicate function name.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

After digging through my VaettirComboRunv3.0.au3 file, I couldn't spot any duplicate lines, so I just deleted Line 3322. The bot was able to open and detect the game and account(s). Then I selected the account and Longeye's as my starting location and I got the following message:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Line 275 (File <File location of VaettirComboRunv3.0.au3>):

If Initalize($CharName, True, True, False) = False Then
If ^ ERROR

Error: Incorrect number of parameters in function call.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm now lost. I'm going to keep digging as I like to figure things like this out myself, but I won't complain if you beat me to it. I've been at this for days.

So... ignore my last post. This post was in front of my face the whole time. Fixed it for me. Thank you so much. Just in time to help populate the community with cupcakes. :)
